I would go out tonight, but I haven't got a stitch to wear....
Not sure if this was posted in last thread but posted by Dragon1 on Coys early this morning.
as widely reported diarra should be joining and we will let wilson move to stoke,dl has got two possibly 3 other deals lined up he wants to shift some more of our squad players before sealing the deals, daniel dont care that the season starts sat he wants to pay as little for those coming and get as much for those going so deals will happen late on ie last wk of aug ,i could not find out who we have lined up i tried
Barnes Spurs again :
anyway little update i asked him if he had anymore information and he kept it short and precise
leandro will become a spurs player, not a matter of if but more when
also non related to spurs man city today have stepped up there pursuit of nasri today and are very confident of signing him
that's it for now
Told you all not to get carried away with the Diarra ITK. As I said, I doubt he will sign for us, unless RM lower the price tag.
DL wants 14m for bentley.
Go figure. All this talk of Rossi is nonsense, he wants a bargain,
Read elsewhere he wanted £7m
My contact has given me contact on EVERY player we've bid on/been in talks with, he's given nothing on Diarra, which means we haven't progressed with our "interest"
I don't really get info close to the end of deals, mainly just targets we are taking seriously. But even I have been told that Diarra is a yid! I still hold reservations as I was told very similar info regarding Parker twice before.
I can't see this being wrong in my opinion though
I honestly believe we will bring in a striker. HR, DL and everyone else knows what we need, there is no "well, we tried" we WILL sign a striker. The trouble is, HR would prefer a PL proven striker, which are out there, but they're either stupidly expensive, or not an upgrade on what we have at the moment.
So, just sit back, relax and enjoy the ride, which we're all used to.
I am still told that Rossi is the target, that could be construed as stubbornness from Harry or simply a confidence that it can be done.
Harry would surely see the qualities in Llorente though, after all, he sees them in peter crouch!
Again I apologize for the limited updates from my end, my boss is really not well at the moment and I'm keeping the hassling down to a minimum.
Madrid never paid the reported price for Diarra and his wages are actually relatively low compared to others at Madrid. Wages not a problem.
Also read someone saying Tottenham want £14million for Bentley. NO they don’t.
Everything between Tottenham and Villa is still the same.
You have offers for Keane, Hutton and Jenas.
Keane will go to Villa if Tottenham accept.
Hutton will go to Villa if Tottenham accept.
Jenas has a contact offer from villa if Tottenham accept. He will then need to accept.
Everthing (incomings/outgoings) is all in Tottenhams hands.
You have offers for both (incomings/outgoings) all waiting to be finalised.
Maybe the looters have stolen Daniel Levys fax machine but its ALL being held up your end.
Diarra will be done.
from what ive heard when tottenham offered Bentley to villa the conversation didnt last long enough to discuss a transfer fee.
But he was offered at the time that villa offered money for hutton, crouch, jenas and that deal was around £15million made by Villa. so to put bentley into that sort of deal it couldnt be anywhere near £14million for Bentley.
I am told that Diarra would be around £12million. I dont think madrid even finished paying for him from how i heard the conversation. but to say they paid over £20million is way off.
Enquiry for Ruiz but Harry isn't too sure.
Shane Long is being touted and fits Levy policy
Rossi and Llorente = Dreams
Adebayor - Nothing moving until City agree to pay part of wages and Levy hoping they get desperate regarding 180k per week
Higuain/Benzema - Enquiry by Levy but none of them for sale stance by RM
Diarra - Deal is 99% done, Club waiting for Palacious to move on before completing
Pedro Leon - Deal could be done depending on Harry
regarding germany. I have never changed my stance on Huntelaar. whether you sign him today next week or the last day of the window. Farfan to. dont know who the german defender was/is.
also interesting that Schalke signed another forward last week and gave a contract to another one of their younger players whos a forward. they have 6 strikers on there books at the minute.
Really. Your source being good, mine being him.
That was the original price tag slapped on him, yes I'm sure it'll be lower and take 5/6 maybe include him in the Samba deal, Origanlly that was the figure considered to put on him
The German defender i've heard which im sure has been mentioned is Mertersacker,a considerable improvement on Chris Samba imo.Who according to SSN is injured and will miss the 1st few games of the season(fits the mould then of the current crop of spurs centre halves)
Akqayid
who Bentley or Diarra??
If its diarra the source i get my Tottenham info from was close to the Diarra to Madrid deal.
If Bentley; why would Tottenham not agree on a fee to sell crouch, hutton and jenas for just over £15 million yet try to negotiate the deal to include David Bentley if he wants £14million for him alone?
regarding the german defender;
i dont know who it was.
it was suggested that he was a centre half that could cover left full back.
Sorry Journo,id heard it was Mertersacker from elsewhere, apologies if my post sounded like it came from yourself
we have been linked with tasci for ages. he can play both positions.
Dont really follow German football,so dont know that much about Tasci or Mertersacker other than Mertersacker is in his last year of his contract supposedly, and that his name has been linked to ourselves
Latest is RM have now lowered their so called asking price for Diarra to £15 million
from a stoke forum:-
Palacios is nowhere near done as homzy says as we are waiting for spurs to tie a few things up before we can talk shop with wp,

Nothing is going to happen until our top targets are definately unnatainable. We are in for a couple of "proper" players and do have back up options if we can't get these. Things are changing all the time in the market. What happens with the likes of Tevez, Sneider and Neymar will dictate what we end up with.
Harry only wants top drawer players that can add to the Modric, Bale and Van der Vaart level of player we have.
Laugh if you like but names like Eto'o, Kaka, Sneider, Rossi, Higuain etc are not as far out of reach as we are led to believe. The last week of the window will be one big blow out and will dwarf all other previous windows as everybody is active and this is the last window where silly money will change hands.
Harry Redknapp's hopes of taking Lassana Diarra to Tottenham have been boosted after Real Madrid finally agreed to lower their asking price. - from talkSh*te!
pieces unravelling? or they just reading our forums lol!!!
POTL in response to SecretSpurs offerings:
The only ounce of truth in that in in relation to Diarra.
David.
I would love to know. Were never getting that, or ever were. Hughes offered 8m two years ago. But every player has a tag next to their name and that was his. He's been offered to Blackburn now, we'll see where that goes.
He's also been offered to Malaga makes sense when you've got 3/4 businesses out there
Jeans is getting offered another contract anyhow, hence that deal feel through and they tried signing him as an individual - correct?
all as i know is that Bentley was mentioned in the deal and with how negotiations were, there would have been no way that the deal could have valued bentley as £14million.
it makes no difference anyway; £14million or £5million or anything in between. McLeish doesnt want him and moreover from the sound of it not many teams do hence why he is being offered so open.
According to a Stoke site, it the other way round. They are waiting for us to complete first
the information just posted about Stoke would match what i said earlier but regarding Villa.
as i said earlier all i know is that everything is down to tottenham. they have deals ready to go (incomings and outgoings) and have for about a week. it is tottenham that are making peope wait. waiting for what? who knows.
spurstilidie1882
i am not going to make any comments about any of the strikers that have been made by the other sources. I told everyone from day 1 that Vucinic was never going to happen.
I stand by Huntelaar and will stand by it. i have never changed my stance. whether he signs today, tomorrow or whenever; he will. schalke have 6 strikers on there books having signed someone last week and offered a young striker a new contract in the first team. Farfan wants to go to Tottenham;
A "little" bit of info on the way ladies and gents
farfan desperate to leave Schalke; was one of the first players to make a noise even if tottenham werent in for him; he wants to go.
I do have more, but I've been sworn to secrecy by my contact. If I were to give out anymore, I'd never get anything else from him.
please please please just a number mystery, 1-10. that'll be enough. i think most people on here would be satisfied just knowing there's something good happening rather than knowing exactly what it is. it's been a truly depressing day so far....
8, and I'm hard to please lol
Haven't noticed this in the thread yet. From the Stoke forum:
"Palacios is nowhere near done as homzy says as we are waiting for spurs to tie a few things up before we can talk shop with wp"
"Like sealing the Diarra deal?"
"That and sorting wp's golden handshake so could be a few more days yet, I will go for Friday, stoke thought it would all be done today but spurs are fucking about for a change."
"So it could be a similar situation with Crouch/Adebayor"
Noodles on FTL saying Bentley going home
Robbie Keane on Irish radio says he expects to sort out his future in the next couple of weeks; sounded like he will be going very soon; never said he "didn't want to leave London"; no disrespect to Championship but he has options to play with Premiership clubs so will be taking that.
Maybe the storm is starting , well at least rain is forecast for London for the next few days!
while browsing for some palacios information i came across this on a Stoke forum:
Jermaine Jenas
« Thread Started Today at 4:34pm »
I have heard from a reliable source that Jermaine Jenas is going to be a Stoke player by the end of the window, for around 7 million,
believe what you want from this I couldn't care less , you can take it or dismiss it. its up to you
This is not a attention seeking post , I'm just telling you what I have heard
EDIT: also found this:
clickers beware, the following link contains extremely hot images of Pennant's fiance

i posted a wrong link to that jenas thread in the stoke forum, here's the correct one:
