The latest update from the spam/neurosis thread...
MadridSpur
Topic: Juan Mata
Posted: Today at 8:17am Apparently very close to Arsenal...but Spurs have made an offer too.
This from Marca this morning.
Trying to get in touch with him.
does madrid spur just get his "info" from spanish papers and pass it off as his own?
He actually is friends with Mata.
Just look out the window everybody, look look....today is definitely the day.
In my garden there is a cockerel pecking the shit out of my boys toy gun. That's gotta be a sign that today's gonna be a good day, right?

Mata from Marca
'Juan Mata is very close to being Arsenal. If the transaction has not closed definitely still is because other two English clubs, one of which Tottenham have submitted in recent days pathways offers that are interesting enough for the player's father, then a representative, is analyzing all the pros and cons of each.
The buyout clause is 20, but in reality the contract with the club Levante Mata lets trade their way out from 15 million. From this figure to 20 of the final compensation, Valencia can retain the player by scaling up the tab as the amount of supply and a total of 750,000 euros.'

Topic: Siphiwe Tshabalala (Shabba)
Posted: Today at 11:38am Have been told we had a few 'agent' talks with Shabba while in South Africa.
All has gone quite now, but it seems Harry was looking at him as a VDV replacement (when vdv is injured or knackered). I thought he was more of a left midfielder ala bale?
I see some questioning my info on n’zogbia.
Forget what skysportsnews and The Independent and few other papers are saying about N’zogbia medical. Skysports saying Friday; independent saying Thursday. They are both wrong; N’Zogbia full medical today. The deal might not be completed until Friday when papers are sent but full medical will be done today. Independent also say it’s at Bodymoor; he might be shown around there but BMI Medical centre is booked. I have phones next to me hoping to get information about the Tottenham 3; but as it stands the bid went in and talking to players. Confuses me why they are more confident on Crouch than Jenas.
Nothing new to add from Yesterday. But phones are on.
Also I see another member confirmed my Diarra information yesterday from earlier in the day. It makes a change not to be contradicting them all the time.
And now the Mirror are picking up of my Afellay, link as well. Ironically he is in Germany at the minute. Also on the board yesterday I talked of the money troubles at Birmingham City and the Mirror are reporting that now this morning too. IS this site their main source of information?
I would also tell you he is wearing a leather jacket and jeans but that could be considered stalking.
Blood test, Scans, assessing old injuries ALL stuff that will be need to be covered for the insurance today.
The other more sports related fitness stuff like working out his VO2max etc might be tomorrow/Friday. That is what the media might be on about.

i was told before the media picked up on it that Daniel Levy was keeping tags on Afellay. He was eyeing a loan deal.
Who leaked to the papers? I would suggest Barcelona. Tottenham wouldnt want it leaked if they want to do it on the sly and on loan. Barcelona leak it that tottenham are interested and then things change.
I have been told that Afellay and Diarra are the 2 being worked on now.
THE GOAT
CRYPTIC CLUE SOLUTION:
We promised to reveal earlier cryptics once it became possible to do so. Well, one player that I understand we enquired about seriously has sadly joined another club.
The player is Santi Cazorla and the cryptic was: "The home of The Swans", explained thus:
The Swans are not infact Swansea City (far too obvious) but Aussie Rules team Sydney Swans, who play the majority of their home games at the Sydney Cricket Ground, or as it's more commonly known: SCG.
Santi Cazorla's full name is Santiago Cazorla Gonzalez.
http://malagacf.com/noticias/malaga-...orla-4841.html
I didn't see anyone guess that but well done if you did. As a reminder, cryptic clues often represent the fact that negotiations are at an early/sensitive stage, so it isn't that surprising that this one didn't come off.
While I'm in a revealing mood, I did see that many of you correctly guessed that "Gio's brother - not" was Leandro. An easier clue to reflect the fact that this link was less sensitive to discuss. Sadly, nothing more to report on that or anything else just now I'm afraid but with Cazorla's transfer to Malaga announced, I felt now was a good time to reveal the link.
As someone pointed out in yesterdays thread when i said N'zogbia was having medical today SKYSPORTS said they had been told Friday; if thats changed there still wrong.
Remember there is 2 parts to any medical.
The insurance bit that has to be done by independent doctors (bmi medical centre) and the fitness stuff that the media will be privy to tomorrow/Friday. I am not saying he wont be seen tomorrow doing some sort of fitness thing but the important things are being done now.
check yesterdays thread; where someone adds sky hyperlink where they say friday.
Im sorry if this has been posted, but the daily mail are linking us now to hijack arsenal's move for mata. Come on levy, you can do this!!!

So, people reckon goal.com have a good source at our club, yeah ?.....
http://www.goal.com/en/news/11/transfer-zone/2011/07/27/2592915/tottenham-close-in-on-17m-deal-for-romas-mirko-vucinic?
Vucinic talks ongoing....
Didn't Yidio say he might have some good news for us today as he was seeing his contact later?
Thanks again! Yeah my Diarra bit came from player side, so if they're hearing it, it must be pretty much there? And I know the link has been there a while.
Confused about Crouchy, but then again, he'd be closer to the missus' parents and I know thats what she wants to do.
Jenas - Can I see him going? Dont know, I know he's very settled in North London.
Hutton - Done as far as I know, as I put here Sunday, he said goodbye to a few during the trip home from SA - Don't know if he's been training this week with the team, thought he'd be talking terms today?
I think we're the whole press' source of info!
I know for sure that keano has been mulling over a move to Blackburn. I'd imagine we would iron out the details with them as soon as he gives us the nod
Update:
Sky Sports sources understand Tottenham striker Jermain Defoe would turn down a move to Newcastle if given the option.
Plus that cryptic form the goat was way too hard. If there all like like we have no chance of getting them!
He must've had a long time to think about it! I think the first update I posted in this window was about Pardew wanting JD
Ligue 1 expert Matt Spiro tweets that Michel Bastos is linked with Spurs in L'Equipe. Lyon want to sell but asking price of €15m has put Juventus off.
POTL on Tshabalala rumours...
LOL.
Some of the rumours going round the last few days....
LOL.
POTL
HoofHarted on COYS on Diarra....
Interested, not done and dusted by a long way.
Might be interested in another couple of RM players.
Noodles on Aguero
I can say now that Levy really, really wanted Aguero. Noodles is right. The guy is obsessed with getting us someone world class
I've been saying since some time (since June) that we have a good relationship with RM and could be getting at least 2 of their players if all goes well.
Also, some of the latest thing that the Journalist agree with my side...
Blessings
I did a massive post at the start of the window about how "time" isn't an issue, bar the time it takes the opposing club to make a decision, but it would appear it has been totally ignored. It would physically take Levy 5 minutes to make a bid for Aguero, the only issue is that it would take a while for them to reply or negotiate.
