Looking at our squad I find these two the most depressing - somehow even more depressing than JJ
15. David Bentley
17. Giovani Dos Santos
15. David Bentley
17. Giovani Dos Santos
So I make that a £10.5 million profit so far (if you consider Ade's signing on fee was £5million - not sure if it was, mind)
Anyway, does anyone know what our transfer budget before player sales was?
I think over the last 3 seasons we've not spent too much ('net' anyway), so there might be a fair bit saved up
Is hudd still with us? That would be great if so
By my reckoning, the only club trained players over 21 are Livermore, Lennon, Bale and Obika, so Obika should at least make the Europa squad.
Plus Huddlestone, so 5 Club trained including Obika (minimum required of 4)
We also have 8 players in the Associaion (but not club) trained category) Dawson, Walker, Naughton, Sigurdsson, Parker, Defoe, Bentley, Jenas - so a total of 13, and we need a minimum of 8.
So we can easily meet all the squad criteria
Edit : At least I think Huddlestone meets Club trained criteria, although loans early in his Spurs career may mean he does not. May need to double check that one !
If I am wrong, agreed Obika may as well be in Europa League Squad (otherwise we only have 24 players) with Huddlestone joining the Dawson, Walker, Naughton, Sigurdsson, Parker, Defoe, Bentley, Jenas list still making it 13 Association Trained (Home Grown in Premiership terminology)
