Just to clear up the Matthew and Michael Craig business, Michael was released and trialled at Southampton but ended up signing a deal with Reading. Matthew is still with us and features for the U23s quite regularly.

Anyone seen much of Jobe?
I seem to remember him being praised a while back but that was probably a couple of years ago when Jude was breaking through.
Was he just being hyped by association, or is there a good talent there?

Smart Move indeed.

Liverpool: Jude, we'll offer you 250k a week

Real Madrid: Jude, we'll offer you 300k a week

Chelsea: Jude, we'll offer you 350k a week

Spurs: Jude, your brother Jobe misses you, wonders if you'd fancy a kick around with him and his mates, just like the old days. Say, for the next five years or so?

Interestingly Dorrington and Williams as well as Kyerematen and to a lesser degree Abbott (he just seems the type of player who tend to succeed in the professional game) are ones I was most impressed with today and after one appearance feel most likely to make it. Though obviously one appearance is a tiny sample size and frankly not a good way to base anything off.

For me Lankshear looked a unit but my worry is if he would be able to translate that into the adult game. Moore looked talented but was also very wasteful and seems to come in and out of the game (turns out he's 15? Very impressive then but a long way to go!). Williams impressed me more because he was always a willing receiver and would move the ball on decisively, a few good runs and a few good passes.

Dorrington was the stand out for me. Very assertive and also very good with the ball too.

Personally none of the players however gave me any indication that they are likely to get close the first team. Instead it looks like we have a lot of players who 'could' do so but are not likely to.
You mean like Harry Kane at 19 yrs old. He was never going to be a prem lge striker never mind one of the best in the world.
one thing for sure, most of them won’t make it but one might end up in our first team. We live in hope.

Chris Perkins, hired about a year ago as a specific youth talent acquirer (or something) is leaving and going to arsenal

Yet another indication that our youth system, and everything round it, is fucked.

It’s so bad now, not sure what the route cause of the issue is
I didn't realise Arsenal poached him. Why are we so bad with youth talent. I really don't get it.

I don’t think it will happen, but nothing to do with Spurs though. I think a lot of young players are seeing Bundesliga as a good opportunity to get playing time at a young age. And given his brother’s experience I would expect Jobe to take a similar path.

He's developing a reputation for not staying anywhere long. I think we nabbed him from Everton where he'd only been about a year, they nabbed him from somewhere else where he was only in the job for about a year.

football.london understands Tottenham are expected to wrap up a deal for a new forward for their academy this week, with the prospect of a summer loan for the newcomer after six months at the club.

Justin Ferizaj from Shamrock Rovers was training with us recently. I’m going to assume it’s him.

hm. unusual that we're planning a loan for an academy player before we even get him in. jobe perhaps? he's listed as a foward/midfielder, though i've never seen him play.
