I am totally out of the loop these days but I'd really like to see some more academy players in the first team. Seems we've had so many potential stars that just fade into obscurity.

Kane, Skipp, Tanganga, Winks. Not many clubs will have more than that at any one time.
Scarlett looking good on loan.

On the subject of academy making the first team squad this list of Academy players at Spurs goes back a long time, a few like Beckham never intended to stay always wanted United.

Most of the good ones stayed and made the first team squad, there are exceptions that left for one reason or another but that happens at most clubs, I mean The Woolwich let Kane go. :):):)

From our recent academy players, Alfie Devine & Dane Scarlett will be future Spurs stars, hopefully Parrott also.

I'm glad Skipp got a call up.

Hopefully he can get some game time in and start challenging for places once back.

Sessegnon selected for the under 21’s . It is a friendly so they can probably select over age players.
He is 22yrs old gone May of this year. Could they be having a look at him in view of England’s problem at left back with Shaw and Chilwell hardly getting game time at their clubs.
Why else would they pick him.

Worth noting that that is far from a comprehensive list.

What I will also say is while most of the good ones stayed, most of the good ones also never made it to the top level, because that's just how academy football works in every club. So while I am hopeful that the three players you mentioned will make it to a high level (I personally think Parrott at this point won't quite make it here, but he's still young and stranger things happen) I wouldnt be so optimistic over prospects.

Pretty sure Sessegnon is not over age for the U21 considering the cycle is half way through. Suspect at the moment he will be in plans for the U21 tournament at the end of the year.

As long as a player was 21 at the start of the calendar year they're eligible for the U21s. He might even be allowed to play the U21 tournament next summer since he's played in this tournament cycle but I'm not as sure on the rules there.

I don't think this has been mentioned.

Spursplay update:

Sep 18th - 11:30 - Tottenham U18s v Brighton U18s

The Spursplay website made a real mess having it listed as an U21 game for 30th, then altered to an evening k.o. before finally getting the correct details up.
