He's bang on the money.
Should have been over in the first half, it's a lazy narrative that fits because we lost.

You can't ignore the summer but picking low hanging fruit is pointless at this stage of the season - doesn't seem to count when playing in the Champions League ... The two are not mutually exclusive.

How do we manage to play ourselves into a mess every time. Last weekend we got lucky with other results are we going to this time.
it's a mentality thing. Look at how our season has been going. There was talk about us being in the title race in December and we started playing poorly. Same happened in February. And after this weekend, when every pundit around was claiming we are there for third place, we are served a non-performance if ever there was one. It's not a coincidence this keeps happening. It's a mindset, being too casual and not going all out to win. That's 12 losses in the PL this season too.

Injuries, CL campaign, top four race, fatigue. It's all piling up now at the end of the season.

What we saw today is a squad that's been completely ran in to the ground. This squad isn't assembled to challenge on all fronts, yet that's what we're doing.

Still it's a disgrace to lose to Spammers at NWHL in this manner.

Fuck that!! Too many haven't got the heart for it, are not winners! Until we get winners we won't go anywhere, we'll just be like Ar5ena1 waving our top 4 certificate each season!!!
Do you honestly think the squad was sufficient today? Looking at the central midfield, the attacking options on the bench, and the obvious fatigue of so many who started the match do you really feel that Poch had enough at his disposal?

We had the most players reach the World Cup semis of any club aside from Real Madrid. The Premier League saw fit to start the season a week earlier than every other league in Europe for some utterly bizarre reason. We were the only club IN THE HISTORY OF FUCKING TRANSFER WINDOWS to go a summer without signing a single new player. We've sustained a season-long injury crisis (a direct result of the aforementioned) which has prevented us from rotating to anywhere near the extent we would normally do.

Despite all that we sit third, above clubs with vastly more resources than us, and in the CL semis. You really think it's just a lack of heart?

Strikes me that we're being punished a bit from Poch's reluctance to give creative youth players their opportunity. We had no one to come on, yet we have a youth that's defensive midfielder like one of our other subs. Two rigth backs, two DM, two strikers on bench.
Would have been nice if Roles or something had been selected and involved in stead.

As a Tottenham player if you cannot be motivated and up for this fixture, especially considering the exceptional circumstances of having a new ground to defend.....then you should not be wearing the shirt....end of. Too many had next week on their minds.

Same ref as against arsenal & goes against us again. Poch should say something but he'll just get another touchline ban. Has any other manager had a ban this season? We lost both games which could now cost us top 4. We were bad but any other team in the top 6 would get a pen for the challenge on Son which changes the game.
How has the ref cost us? Poor decision making in first half and lack of urgency in the second half, that’s what’s cost us.

I have to confess, this was the first time today I have ever bet against Spurs. Just felt this wouldn't be an easy game and they'd find that extra 5-10% against us as per, we'd have a disjointed team, pressure might get to us. And so it's played out.

I also don't think this is a particularly good team this year. A dozen league defeats, what 17/18 in all competitions(?), yes there are mitigating circumstances but lets face it, even without them standards of our play are way down on previous seasons. I haven't got much faith in us, because we haven't shown any consistency. Amazingly though, despite all this, by strange fate it would of course be the season where we go further in the CL than ever before and winning it is actually coming over the horizon at us. Oh and Chelsea, Man Utd and Arsenal have managed to be even worse, just about. Funny old game isn't it. But it's masking a lot of bollocks from this season.

And I can only assume Poch didn't want to win this game, given some of his selections. Six defenders on the pitch again, takes Moura off at 0-0 when others/Poch's favourites were stinking the joint out, ends up with two targetmen on the pitch but we have no width on the right (until Foyth finally contributes in the 94th minute, impressively but it had to wait that long for anyone on the right to get in a crossing position) and then takes our width on the left off, so we just lump it towards the box from miles away, and then to top it all off we finish with Wanyama and Dier on the pitch. Fucking bonkers.
