Sissoko has been our best player so far

No he hasn’t, Lamela has. Yes ok Sissoko has given us good energy but he’s shocking with the ball, looking at our bench he needs to get subbed off ASAP, we need a player who can actually play football

Ugly feeling in the crowd tonight. Frustrated and angry. Myself included. Which is odd because we’ve been okay. Lamela and Sissoko are fighting for everything. We just lack class and Harry’s touch is way off otherwise we’d be level.
Strange.

One down at halftime to a team that scores for fun; and we gifted them a cheap goal through rubbish defending. They didn't really have to work for it.

I expected to get rooted.

I'm made up we're even still in it with a chance to get something out of it.

Really, we should have gone in at least drawing with the two golden chances we had.

Fans are tits sometimes.

Is it as bad as the half time stats would have me believe?
We had three or four very good chances to draw level and are not out of the game as yet. Riding our luck a bit to not concede with the danger they've created down our right, though.

The amount of unforced errors we’re making at the minute is pathetic.

Don’t think we’ve played that badly though, needed to take one of those opportunities as feel like City will just turn it on at some point.

KWP can count himself unlucky not to be starting for us, Trippier is the right back equivalent of papa bouba diop, good World Cup but a very, very average footballer.

Dembele is just chasing the game out there. Winks would give us more of a foothold in the match.

We are fortunate that the gaping hole down the right side of our defense has not cost us more than just the one goal. A change is absolutely needed there before it costs us again.
at least a year past his best, 2nd to absolutely everything, doesn't get up and down the pitch, not great a tracking their players, just very good in tight spaces and a beast to try and get past. never like games where him and dier are both trying to do the same thing, leaves us light on options when we have the ball, especially when we have such a poor left back

I don't think its been as bad as some of you are making out! This City team are immense. The fact we're still in with a chance of grabbing something with our shakey defence should give the lads a bit of a boost. How Dier is starting weekly is beyond me. He offers very little protection to the back 4. Ref has bottled every 50/50 but thats the norm.

How shit is Mendy?
He's not shit at what people see on highlights but if they actually watched him they would see that he is not a good defender and is horrible positionally. It shows the error in rating a player on 1 or 2 attributes instead of the whole player. Tripps is another instance of this, decent cross and passing but shit everywhere else.

I would say no. We've done alright apart from Trippier's two mistakes in five seconds. What we aren't is getting off shots. We've had opportunities but are making the wrong decisions every time.

City have been off their game...which is the only reason we are just 1 behind...they are better than us in every department it's quite embarrassing. I expect Pep will give them a rollocking at half time and they will start the second half with a bit of in enthusiasm and put us to the sword with a couple more goals before the 70th minute then start making subs once they have killed the game.

We have looked awful in every department...a couple of City lapses mean we could even be ahead...undservedly.

Trippier against Sterling is a ridiculous mismatch.
