Hindsight is a wonderful thing. Llorente especially seemed like a low risk signing at the time.
Giving a chance to some kids who you've literally already got under contract anyway and who have been doing well is much, much lower risk and indeed higher-reward.

Eriksen on please Poch because you can be damned sure KdB will be coming on for City sooner rather than later to exploit this space.

Awful stuff. Look angry, disinterested, miserable and tired.

Players and fans look fed up with Wembley.

I said we would need Kane and Moura to have perfect games and be more clinical to win this. Wasteful Spurs strike again but the result is better than I expected.

No we haven't. We look nervy. Very open at the back. We've been poor.

Youre right thats why ive said we have winged it - what I really meant to say is we have had the opportunities and we have done alright to get those opportunities

Referee and linesman deciding on their own interpretation of the paws. Best officials in the world eh.

We've had chances - but we look to be second best to every loose ball out there. I'd love to figure out where the intensity went.

Alli on for Dembele for more legs and we can nick something here.

We've had opportunities but been a bit sloppy in the final third.

We have a lot of just average players. Davies, Trips, Dembele, Dier, Sissoko - all average players and nothing more. I can see why Poch is extremely frustrated.

Frustrating thing is that City’s defence is there to be got at.

Problem is like a lot of this season we have lacked quality in the final third when it counts and been shaky defensively.
