I’m still in awe of Dele’s touch to Eriksen for the goal. Sublime.

Real class in a nutshell from Alli. Mental awareness, composure, agility and execution. The kind of teamwork you used to see from the Brazilians. Great win!! (Yes i’m a few beers down). Now for three wins in a row at the NLD. This is what great teams are made of.

Even his dummy for Lucas in the first half, his football awareness and intelligence has come on leaps and bounds, top player.

That's nice and all, but the best thing about that clip is as Eriksen slides into the corner: the guy at the front (next to the 2 dudes having celebratory coitus) is more interested in what he's just picked out of his nose than the fact we just scored!

Absolutely fucking mint.

I live in semirural Northeast Ohio - not exactly the outback, but not far off. I went into my local chemist a week or so ago and the pharmacist noticed my hat. "Is that Tottenham Hotspur?" It was a bit surprising, but there's a few people into footy round here. "Yeah, I'm from London." "You must be really disappointed with your season."

Hah.

I presume he only watches the CL, but we've been in arguably the toughest group with arguably the worst luck...and we're still here. When I saw the draw, the minimum I wanted was to give it a go and be able to leave with our heads held high. Well we're there already. I think we've been better than Inter twice now, and but for a few minutes of madness we'd already have qualified. As it is, I don't see us going through, but nights like tonight are why we do this.

That goal was a perfect encapsulation of the three key players involved. Get the fuck in.

My wife, a classically trained ballerina, looked vaguely interested when I showed her Dele’s deft turn and lay off. Then she told me it was Wednesday and I had to take the rubbish out. Nothing and everything makes sense

I just watched Eriksen's post match interview and he said words to the effect of "luckily it was a bad touch by Dele". I can't tell if he's joking! To me, Dele played the move absolutely perfectly.

I go do some work wank for a minute and I miss us scoring. Of course
It's ok YS we are all adults here so no need for embarrassment or euphemistic wording for your actions. It's that 'minute' thing you should be embarrassed about though. COYS!

We had an Inter supporting couple in front of us. It was obvious. He pretended to sing along to Spurs songs at the beginning while looking and laughing at his missus and when we scored he turned and snarled at her. I think she wasn’t too fussed about the whole thing but I’m not sure she’s getting any tonight. Not from him anyway.

Gutted.

He’s joking. That’s his sense of humour. HEs always saying things like that.
