Janssen will defo get minutes as there isn’t enough oxygen in the new stadium to get Nando through 90 minutes.

Hoping Winks is wrapped in cotton wool until Ajax, where he’ll out-Modric young Frenkie De Jong.

We’ve tonnes of injuries, but surely some attack minded youngsters should be getting a crack, Roles? Parrott?

Four defenders, a holding midfielder and a flop doesn’t inspire much confidence if we are desperate for a goal in the last ten minutes.

Surprised roles doesn’t get more of a look in

Certainly don't expect a dour game with those two lineups - ours very much to be on the front foot and pleased to see 433 with Wanyama as the anchor which should suit our strengths. Brighton meanwhile don't appear on paper to be parking the proverbial bus which is bold considering how poor they've been of late.

So long as we are mentally on point from the get-go then I fully expect goals here but that being said, I hope we at least get 2 because I'd hate for us to be coasting thinking this in the bag.

That's a strong line up. Suspect if we score early and often, we'll pull players off pretty quick. As others stated, it would be a surprise if Vinny has gone from the doghouse to sitting at the master's foot, but it would be great to see another player come in from out of the cold.

Just praying for no injuries tonight. That's all.

If we get through the first leg of Ajax 0-0 or 1-0, I'm having a flutter - and I don't gamble.

Surely we must have a youth winger or two. Could have done with onomah and nkoudou right about now.

Judging by the loan thread, the lad really isn't doing himself any favours mate. Seems as though he's not putting in any effort, just strolling etc.

I'd say the same about Llorente of old but in recent weeks his all round play has been so much better. He seems to have rediscovered his confidence and looks twice the player he was last season.

Yeah, he has been better, but he’s still a limited player at this stage. I doubt any Spurs fan is relishing the prospect of him starting up front in our first CL semi final. I know I’m not.

What’s the point in Janssen coming on? Unless we are desperate I would rather skipp get some minutes

Strong team maybe the same team to play Ajax only without son really need Winks to be back for that game

Because Skipp isnt a like for like for Llorente. Unless we change the system.

Can’t see Llorente playing 90 mins and ideally want to get some rest into Son or Moura.

All depends on the score though.

Janssen floundered in a Spurs shirt early on, but I honestly don’t see why he’d be any worse than Llorente in open play, particularly alongside the pace of Son and Moura.

He is terrible, useless in the air for the size of him. Even for his age, Nando is twice the footballer.
