the tickets may be dear - but they'll be a lot cheaper than the £300-500 touts were charging for our last two wembley trips

moreover we'll be able to buy them legally with no fear of getting given bogus tickets etc

plus I know I won't be in the 'corporate zone'

all of which factors combined to stop me buying tickets for our last 2 finals

Wembley return in July

As part of our pre-season plans, the Club will be competing in the inaugural Wembley Cup in July against Barcelona, Celtic and Egyptian champions Al Ahli.

The two-day tournament at the national stadium will consist of two matches across each day. We take on La Liga leaders Barcelona in our opening fixture on Friday, July 24 (kick off TBC), with Celtic playing Al Ahli on the same day.

We then face Scottish league champions Celtic in our second and final match on Sunday, July 26 (kick off TBC), while Barcelona will meet Al Ahli in the day's other fixture.

Please note ticket details are yet to be confirmed.

Oh dear. Ive just got back from watching them play Sevilla on Wednesday night and i can safely say that I think the unbeaten friendly run may come crashing to an end with this one!
