I'm enjoying how much overall control we have, even without the ball. So long as we counter with such precision.

I've been Spurs too long to enjoy a half-time 2-nil lead, against anybody,... but I am enjoying this.

So happy there are fans in there to see this!

I think the trick with Sissoko is to play to his limitations. Poch's expansive, possession based football saw the worst of Sissoko but Mourinho's style suits him perfectly as he is one of the fittest players around and has the pace and power to cause real troubles. His positioning is pretty good too and as long as you are only asking him to pass 5 yards he can do it. Suits us perfectly at the moment but mainly for these games. I wouldn't fancy him if we had to break down fellow bus parkers.

his conditioning is unbelievable. never stops. incredibly limited footballer technically, but functioning very well as part of this team.

All we need to do now is to lock shop an defend as we did against Chelsea.

I think people discredit sissoko’s technical ability. The issues he has are his first touch and his fear of being in possession. I am completely aware these are two huge things, but when he has time, his passing range is quite impressive, and we all know his ball carrying abilities.

If you look through my past posts you'll see that I like this style and have defended Jose cause it works and is working today.

Maybe I'm just way to nervous and it's clouding my judgement but they cranked it up and we were making a lot of mistakes with the ball, getting dragged all over the place too.

That said, I did miss the first 20 mins.

Okay all you Sissoko-hating wankers. Where's your love for him today? BEAST MODE

I don't like him. Today he is exceptional and he usually does well in these games.
Not sure he is really needed against low blocks. Good to have him in the squad though. Hope he can keep it up.

Perfect result at half time. Maybe take Gio off, a sending off could really hurt our system. Trust in Jose though.

Thigh injuries do not fix themselves in the space of two weeks. That’s pure desperation from Arteta starting him in this game and likely putting him out until the new year and beyond now.
