90m release clause. We open at 2. Now I think I finally understand that meet in the middle thing some of you were going on about.

Doesn't really look like he's a sensation. At 20, he's already likely to be a cast off at Barca, and it mentions he's been playing in the Segunda and would be going into our academy.
Another shrug of the shoulders signing

The 90M release clause sounds out of date if this ''AS adds that Barca will reluctantly accept an offer of around £7m - but they want £3.6m of that fee paid up front.'' Is correct.
So our opening offer against that silly release clause may seem ridiculous, but it isnt.

How can he be a "Barcelona ace" if he's never played for the first team? The article is also very light on information. Where can he play?
Is he Columbian (his previous club was but doesn't mean he doesn't have a Spanish passport etc) and if so are there work permit issues?
I'm filing this one under unlikely for now....

Not for the 1st team. It’s a signing for the academy(of which we desperately need to shift players on from also to allow others to come through) for us to make a profit on. But Barca want a buy back. I dont see this happening.

Google says he’s a CM but google is VERY light on information about him.

We are already at a max for foreign players. Need to sell one of our own foreign players before we can entertain this move.

But that's a debate for another thread.....

Pretty sure he's Ramon Vega's son. Or grandson. Or dad.
