She's a huge Son fan who wanted to meet her idol.

Tottenham stars take South Korean fan back to hotel to meet her idol Son Heung-Min... and wait outside door to surprise the striker in hilarious video
  • South Korean fan met Tottenham Hotspur players in Barcelona on Tuesday
  • Her favourite player is Son Heung-Min, but he was not with the group
  • The Spurs players took her back to the team hotel so she could meet her idol
  • Son was visibly shocked when he opened his hotel door, saying 'for f**** sake'
  • However he was happy to have a photo taken, which she posted to Instagram
Imagine bumping into the football team your hero plays for - and then the disappointment you would feel when you realise he was not among them.

That was how one huge Son-Heung Min fan felt when she met a group of Tottenham Hotspur players in Barcelona, which included Dele Alli and Harry Kane, but not the South Korean international.

What she would have expected to happen would have been a few pictures with Kane and Co for Instagram, and maybe the hope she would run into her idol another day. The reality was somewhat different.

The Spurs players, led by Alli and Eric Dier, decided to take her back to the team hotel so she could meet her idol in person.

Initially the South Korean forward did not seem to pleased to be disturbed, then astonished by the scene that greeted him when he opened the door, as a video posted to Instagram shows.

The fan, known on the social media website as @im_116_good, met the players by chance on Tuesday. They are in Spain for their winter training camp in Barcelona this week.

She managed to get pictures with many of them, including Christian Eriksen, Hugo Lloris, and England internationals Kane and Alli, but while they had gone out in the Spanish city, Son had decided to stay in his hotel room.

So the players took her to his room so she could meet him and get a picture in person.

The film shows the large group of Spurs players knocking on Son's door - they have to do it twice as he does not answer straight away.

If the fan was excited to meet her hero, she may have been slightly disappointed by his initial reaction - to open the door only a crack, and to say 'for f**** sake' when he saw the camera and the large group of his team-mates.

It all turned out well however, with the players heard telling Son: 'They want to say hi, they want a picture.'

Son quickly cottoned on to the joke and, to the amusement of his laughing team mates, opened his door wide to greet his star-struck admirer.

She got her long-awaited photo, which was posted on her account on Tuesday night.

The pictures accompany a lot of other Son and Spurs related posts to her account, including film of the 24-year-old warming up during Tottenham's game at Manchester City last Saturday.

Spurs are in Barcelona for some warm weather training away from frosty London, in between their 2-2 draw at City in the Premier League and their FA Cup fourth round tie at home to Wycombe Wanderers at the weekend.

The Spurs players seemed in the mood for a bit of fun at the expense of their team mate at the end of an intense day of training including ball work and strength-building exercises at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Company.

It will all be worth it in the end however, according to assistant manager Jesus Perez, who earlier this week revealed to the club website the benefits of swapping Enfield for Barcelona.

He said: 'We've played so many matches so far and it's the same - a lot of training, a lot of the same routines - and the players deserve a bit of a break.

'Of course, we are training here, so we're not on holiday, but they have time to be together as a group, to go shopping, to walk around, to have different meals, a change from the normal habits in London.

'It's good as a group and I think it will be a fantastic experience again.'
Looks like Hugo was the leader of this one with Dele and Eric:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I must admit I was pleasantly surprised! I always pegged Hugo as passive and a loner. Really glad to see this side of him

Not sure on that one. Obviously he's older than most but he always seems to be having a laugh with everyone else in the media / after matches. Seems to be getting on well with Sissoko since his arrival
