Lyall said we've scouted Felipe Anderson - what's he like?

A number of posters love him on here - @Snarfalicious if I remember correctly. Remember he was linked to United recently so heading towards the megabucks kind of signing. Him and Keita Balde Diao would be a nice pair to take from Italy, and indeed Lazio.

Theres rumours floating around that Man City youngster Tosin Adarabioyo contract talks have broken down. A player with great potential, feel as though this is the sort of deal we should be pushing for. We'd be ideal for him currently.

Yeah, I wanted us to go for him when he was at Santos. He's a really versatile player, something I didn't expect when he was younger; looked more like a gifted attacker who was best in an advanced role and on the ball.

He'd be perfect for Poch. High effort, good with chance creation and he's feisty when in pursuit of the ball. I'd imagine he would be a very expensive option, though.

Difference maker though.

He'd be a great signing.

So Aubemeyang was doing a Q&A on instagram live and he panned the camera to reveal Ousmane Dembélé sitting in his Spurs shirt. Shame we didn't get him if he's a fan.

I'm sure he's probably got hundreds of footy shirts.

Interesting article in Guardian on his transfer, and how murky it got regarding agents and shady stuff. Not surprised Levy didn't get involved.

Bit of an odd assumption that. While I'm sure footballers own plenty of shirts I doubt they wear the shirt of other clubs as part of their casual clothing unless they like the club to some degree.

Young lads with loads of money will just buy loads of sports gear. Maybe he's a Spurs fan, but I wouldn't take it as proof.'

What about Helder Costa. Was amazing against Liverpool (second string) yesterday
He was good with acres of space to counter attack into -but that's not generally the state of play with us. Can he play with a packed defence in front of him?

Article on Naby Keita:

http://www.espnfc.com/german-bundes...-uncanny-mix-of-ngolo-kante-and-franck-ribery

Here's an exercpt - sounds very impressive.

He has arguably accomplished that feat already, becoming the top player in Germany. Keita's average grade (2.54 out of six, where one is the highest mark and six the lowest) in Kicker is the best in the Bundesliga among outfield players. His contribution goes way beyond the four goals and five assists he has produced so far. He is everywhere on the pitch, both in attack and defence.

It would be hard to find a more complete midfielder in Europe these days, because Keita is an uncanny, almost unbelievable, mix of N'Golo Kante, Luka Modric and Franck Ribery.

On paper, he plays in a holding position at Leipzig, and very few midfielders make more tackles and interceptions than him. He is also responsible for building the play from behind with delightful through balls and wise distribution. All that doesn't stop him from bursting forward and taking on defenders. In fact, only Dortmund's Ousmane Dembele -- an out-and-out winger -- has completed more dribbles per game than Keita. With an average of 2.9, he leaves the likes of Ribery and Arjen Robben far behind.

Given such range of skills, it is easy to understand why he was nicknamed Deco in his homeland as a kid.

He's an absolute monster in midfield. Unfortunately, I see him going to a "bigger" club for his next step.
