I think Thorsvedt is an exciting prospect - not least because he's his father's son. Not sure how he would fare in the PL but would be interesting to sign him for two years with a loan til end of season to a Championship club to cut his teeth and then get him training with the big boys in the summer.

Having seen every minute Thorstvedt has played for Norway, I can see why Conte would like him.

Ødegaard is captain ( :hungover: ), Haaland is an inspiration, but Thorstvedt brings the fire. He will not accept anything below 100% of himself or anyone around him, he crashes into tackles and throws himself at any ball that comes his way, he's brilliant at that first line of press.

I have doubts about his technical proficiency but he'd bring an attitude we see far too little of in our current squad and particularly among our AMs.

Yeah, maybe we need understated (but still excellent) players rather than supposed superstars.

I like the sound of this guy from what you've said. The fact that he's Erik's lad also adds to that.

Think (good) Dele's late runs into the box and aerial play with Højbjerg's attitude and you're in the right ballpark.

That sounds too good to be true but as I said above I'm not convinced he's technically at the top level and that is his obvious drawback.
