Well that's me gone too but it's been a great night so far, playing poker and chatting Spurs with some top class yiddos! I think there's a good chance that this could become a regular game.

Mods, is it ok to keep this thread in here or would it better in another forum?

Yeah have to agree, it is good. If we can get more players then it will benefit SC :)

I see Sparx got you in the end, was it a big all in or did he grind you down? You were going strong throughout though really apart from that run of bad cards in the middle.

What was the agreed donation then? Do we all pay 10% of the prizepool or is it the winners pay 10% of their cash? I'm not sure what was agreed on although I'll be making a donation either way.

Thanks again for setting up the poker room, the first Spurs Community poker game has been a success!

QQ v 22

278 flop (I think) J on the turn cant remember the river. had myself convinced he had trips but for another 14 K in to the 30 k pot i couldnt fold. Left me with about 3 k left and it dwindled out on a K10 all in that missed

I think those who place pay as that'll be 10% of the pot, but i rounded up mine (3.50 to a tenner) but with more prize money/entrants it may be a nice 20- 30 quid for the site each time.

how often would people like it - could do every 2 and a half weeks - alternate between a midweek and a sunday so 2 a month, one of each....?

Morning everyone. Enjoyed last night and well done to the three who cashed. I like the idea of a 2.5 week rotation so that those who can play on the weekends only have the chance to participate.

Sounds good. I couldn't do last night's but will definitely be up for them in the future.

'twas good fun - thanks for arranging GH.
Obviously winning made it better, but it was a good crack. My donation will be done over the weekend.
If more players join, then I think that the time needs to be looked at I.e. blind levels (maybe every 15 mins), and i wonder whether the add on is needed? Not sure people will be prepared for that amount of time that it took last night (which I enjoyed) but does take up a whole night.

I think it lasted about 5 hours in total. I think going forward slightly faster blinds, and perhaps 1R1A would be a better option. Or just start off very deep stacked and have no rebuys or add ons.

I agree, it was really deep for most of the game. rebuys should be turbos imo :D v good fun though!

bit of a frustrating way to go out for me, Glenn knocked me out after staging an epic comeback after a lucky river hit :(
