I thought he had an exemption after winning something with the National side

Exactly what I was going to say. It is a huge risk despite South Korea having stamped on COVID-19 in a way other countries should have so why is he being made to go?

I think it might be mentioned in the article posted in the SHM thread, but i certainly read somewhere that even though he's exempt from the 2 years military service he still has to do 4 weeks before he turns 28 (which i think must be this year). Either way he had to do it this summer so i guess doing it now during the break makes sense.

Will he be trained to pass the ball to a team mate in a better position to score? A bit harsh Sonny I know, but that’s your only major fault

4 weeks? Come on, it's nothing. A grand adventure if nothing else.

He is from SOUTH Korea after all.

I wish the UK done this, too many little scrotes doing jack shit but stealing and vandalising peoples properties

2 years of reality should help them, plus many would actually come out with respect and a trade too

Why foist scrotes on the Army? I was a soldier for many years, my son also, and most soldiers don't want to see society's dregs shoved their way.

I think my post was a little confusing. The point is to get them before they become dregs, scrotes, lazy thieving bastards. Maybe not all guys who join the army (military) come out and do well but their chances are better having been in the military than those we have walking our streets looking for an opportunities to loot or commit some sort of crime.
I truly believe than anyone who is not still in education by the age of sixteen should get drafted

Not in favour of a Nights watch type draft then? ?

I totally agree though

I've never watched Game of Thrones, but after Googling think that it may be an acceptable way of dealing with certain people, particularly this bit, 'Members of the Night's Watch swear an oath of duty that prohibits marriage, family, and land ownership which lasts until their death'.

this will always hang over Son and his responsibilities to his country. If it's the reported 4 weeks just let him go.

Safer doing military training in SK than being in the UK at the moment.

If his arm is healed enough to do this, I suppose its a good sign that it is healed enough to play football.
