Don't blame you have say he comes across as an intelligent guy which makes it even more unforgivable. I think in hindsight he knows he made a massive mistake even when he was put on the spot my Ravi.

I agree. It's a bit like the media saying that Audley Harrison was intelligent because he could string a sentence together. Sol Campbell believes that he is far more intelligent and intellectual than he actually is. To me he comes across as a sad, bitter and resentful person who believes that the world owes him something
He is a scummy, classless human being who deserves everything that he gets. He will rightly be remembered as the man who left spurs for arsenal. What he achieved in his career plays second fiddle to his shortcomings as a person.

The final nail in the coffin for me in any chance he had in redeeming himself is when he admitted to voting Tory because he didn't want higher rate of mansion tax.

He wasn't even a very good footballer. He was just an athletic fucking unit. I really wasn't that bothered about him leaving I was just a bit fucked off we didn't cash in on him when we had the chance.
He is delusional, egotistical and definitely has one or two mental health issues.
He was a brilliant CB; for us, Arsenal and England. His athleticism obviously played a large part, but it was still just part of what made him so good.
Like others, he's kinda off my radar now; looking forward and all that.

Apparently he's also Black which stopped him from becoming England Manager, a Russian Cosmonaut and Queen of Sweden . If he was white and had all the qualifications he would have walked into any of those jobs. Poor guy never had a chance and that's why he wants to go into politics and stand up for the weak and oppressed of this land.

Yeah, its pretty much always the same sort of thing, declerations of how much a poster hates him, summaries of what he did and what a prick he is, yatta, yatta, yatta. At some point someone will take a ban for evading the site censor and it all quietens down until his name crops up the next time

He was on fantasy football club as well. I must admit he did seem less of a prat than normal but I had to turnoff when he referred to Arsenal as "us" 5 or 6 times.

As much as i fuckin hate him to the core, there's no denying he was a great footballer and i WAS worried when there was talk he would leave. To say he wasnt good is insane actually.
Having said that, i will never ever put him in my top footballers at spurs, not even top 100 even though he wouldve made it in the list.
He pissed the whole club off by lying about leaving, thus making the board decide to not worry about cashing in on him, only to leave for free. TO THE ARSE!!!
He committed 2 unforgivable acts, even if it happened so long ago. I for one will never forgive and forget.
The joke about it is that Arsenal fans don't really like him. They like winding up us guys about him because they know how much it hurts, but otherwise they simply see him as another mercenary footballer. His breakdown didn't help!
