You can see that that dip has existed throughout his recent career at Hoffenheimm and Swansea. He utilizes it differently as well, as his upward trajectory is much higher/steeper and the ball dips and finds a top corner. Bale hits his flatter and harder, and the dip is equally vicious, but his shots end up in bottom corners etc as opposed to top. You can see the same dip with Sig's corners and set piece delivery, when his corners are on they look like a complete nightmare to deal with. His Swansea and Hoff comps have got loads of examples. One of the most vicious dippers was a free kick for Swansea that looked like it was going well over until it crashed into the bar at the last moment possible.
