The club's South American players reportedly went AWOL as they do not want to return due to the political unrest in Ukraine.

Five of the six players have been named and all of them are of South American nationality.

The five players who have been named are Brazilian's Douglas Costa, Fred, Dentinho, Alex Teixiera and Argentinian Facundo Ferreyra.

This was bound to happen and mentioned in transfer thread that this will mean there are a ton of AM's/Wingers available like Bernard who isn't on that list that they would most likely be on the market.

Shakhter is in currently rebel held territory and worth noting that the football hooligans were clashing with the rebels before some matches were played behind closed doors.

Also Yarmalenko and Konoplyanka are both supposed to be cheap
