You are right it is only 3 of our last 6 goals. No it isn't a fact because lumping the ball to no-one in particular is not a pass. And it wasn't 4, it was 3. And I'm going out of my way to discredit it because it's a bogus attempt at crediting Lennon with more credit than he deserves, and it is also countered by the fact that he has not assisted or "last passed" for the majority of the previous 20 appearances.
..................Foster
Naughton Dawson Fryers Rose
Lennon Livermore Carroll Towns
...........Kane......Wickham
Will Sherwood take credit for relegating us?
Another excellent point, and one that I had clearly overlooked. Sometimes it's just not your day.....I thought he'd already handed Levy his list of "5" signings he wanted to make ?
Apparently Pritchard's loan finishes after Swindon's game with Notts County on 26th April. If that is true, I would love for him to get some game time in our last two games to see what he can do.I was disappointed that Cellebos, Townsend, Falque and Pritchard got next to no game time last season when he had NOBODY for the wing at some points during the season
Carroll by all accounts has not been playing well.
So Tom started again today, and QPR won. I've no idea how he played, but I thought i'd work out how they've done with and without him.
Carroll starts
P17 W11 D2 L4 PPG: 2.06
Carroll doesn't start
P21 W9 D7 L5 PPG: 1.62
The perceptions of football fans are not always to be trusted:
me too ...i cringe whenever he's being interviewed.I stopped listening to Tim Sherwood about 2 months ago. He's a total wanktard.
It is a huge dig at AVB, but in Kane's case it's reasonably true. I would have much rather Kane was given game time than waste money and game time on players like Dempsey last year.
On the flip side, I'm pretty sure AVB gave Townsend much more game time than Sherwood has, favouring an inept Lennon week after week, so it's very much a case of glass houses.
And he also chose not go bring Carroll back from QPR.
