Too long to translate but I will give you the main points:

  • With less than a week to go, Aurier's legal situation is still unclear.
  • PSG want to sell him to get some cash in to balance the books.
  • Sentenced to a jail sentence of 2 months for assaulting a police office, Aurier appealed against it.
  • Aurier has always wanted to leave PSG.
  • PSG applied for his naturalisation with French authorities few months back.
  • He's also applied for a UK Work Permit - this was turned down last autumn.
  • His legal advisors are still confident of a positive outcome.
  • Spurs have reached an agreement since Monday with PSG for a fee of 25 million euros, including bonuses.
  • Daniel Levy has met the sporting director of PSG Antero Henrique in Paris.
  • Spurs sent a member of the medical team to conduct Aurier's medical yesterday in Paris.
  • Chelsea are also interested in Aurier but not willing to formalise their interest until his legal situation is resolved.
  • Inter Milan was also mentioned but they have since signed Joao Cancelo from Valencia.
  • The interest from Juventus is still active and they have agreed terms with Aurier for a 5 year contract.
  • Juventus however can't register him at the moment since they have reached their quota of max. number of non-EU players.
  • Aurier is not willing to wait 5 months for Juventus to register him in their squad and be loaned in the meantime.
  • PSG are desperate to sell to raise some cash.
Chavs need a RB, they're going to come in for him aren't they?

Long enough to see this be the go to response for people with nothing better to say and pent up rage against the world targetted specifically at things they cannot control simply because they have yet to figure out their own life problems. (y)
Lol. . Come back to me after the window shuts. Also when I've got my results from the hospital after my colonoscomy I've booked in for Tuesday I will let you know my life problems. Wanker. .

As a Spurs fan, every bit of optimism must be balanced with pessimism.
You seem a decent guy, give lots to the site, try not be so condescending to certain posts then blasé on others that are basically the same. I don't want an argument with anyone but posting childish make believe tweets from the club trying to get brownie points is a bit childish.

Look I've got nothing against you. We've all got shit going on in life we'd rather not have and I wish all the best of luck to you on Tuesday but like you I come here for the drama, journey, (inevitable disappointment following druglike highs of hope) and the love of Spurs. Call me wanker all you want, won't bother me none if it makes you feel better. In this one instance I'm actually not super worried about us completing the deal. If we don't I'll be the first one here typing FFS but I really think this one will go through fine. Chelsea have been beautifully terrible this transfer window and I am loving watching that unfold.

I was going to tell you to get your head out of your ass, but it appears you'll be getting that taken care of on Tuesday.

Hate to give into pessimism but I can't see Chelsea sitting on the sidelines for this one. They've been in the market for a right back, he's arguably the best available, and he's going for way below his market value.

It would be absolutely devastating to us to fail to replace Walker. Conte knows how important the fullbacks are to us, he exploited it last weekend. All of this tells me they'll be offering him wages we can't compete with the moment his legal situation is resolved.

Someone translate this pls.

Ok. Got google translate here. Although you posted a picture so i have to do it manually.

Aurier la brulante attente = to awaken the burning expectation.

I really liked that, then realised it was a really long text and didn't care that much.

But burning expectation sounds great. (Unless you have the clap and need a pee.)

It sounds like we are already past the "transfer" portion of this move. The fee and personal terms have all been agreed for a few days at least. We were waiting on the permit/court hearing results and if that has happened, it should move along quickly.

If it doesn't I hope we have a back up right back target

This thing is sealed. Levy doesn't spend the cash to get a medical done and send the signal that we're otherwise out of the RB market if he wasn't confident this thing is going through. It's no coincidence that Hercules confirmed that the appeal was successful and hours later we're hearing about a medical being done. This thing will be wrapped early next week. Sanchez had his medical earlier this week and the club anticipated the work permit to be finalized by the end of the week. Without a criminal record, Aurier's work permit should be similarly processed in a couple days.
