The club invited any season ticket holder who wanted to move, to submit an application form. I did this, and a couple of months later they called me and sorted it.

I believe the club stopped facilitating this a few weeks later, even though there were still many applications outstanding.
When was this? You don't mean after the end of last season do you?

Even though I'm someone who has never been to the new stadium (and never will be able to go :() that just doesn't seem fair?

Surely everyone should have the same opportunity/treatment?

Don't get me wrong. I'm happy for you personally. I just feel that, if the club actively invited season ticket holders to submit application requests to be moved to a different seat/stand, ALL submitted applications should be noted and considered equally.
We were fortunate managed to get the three of us moved from north to south stand about a week before they stopped it. Don’t know the reason but like you I don’t think that stopping it was particularly fair. It’s not like they didn’t have the time...

Yes, it was outrageous. But I'm fairly sure they will revisit it before we're back to full capacity

I don't think i'm going to be able to renew this year - do you think we'll get the 20% renewal fee from last year back as it doesn't say much about that? Just that it will be removed from this years fee and if you don't want to renew just let the June 3rd deadline pass?

Nor sure, all I could see was this...

What if I am unable to return to the Stadium in 2021/22?
Season Ticket Holders who are unable to return to the Stadium next season are advised to contact us directly.

Suppose you'd have to ask them, mate.

They've also just emailed me, rows 71-82 of the south stand have had the standing bars installed. They said if it does become standing kids will have to relocate

Reckon they've given themselves just enough time to sack Mourinho and reap the rewards of season ticket renewals - that is if the "roadmap" remains unaltered.

Still think it's incredible cheeky to ask for full payment whilst we're still in some form of lockdown! (Also painfully doesn't consider what 21 June actually is, not an instant return to normality but very much still a socially distanced one).

Debate for another thread, but they've used festivals as an example for things allowed after 21st which aren't possible distanced

Sadly it's not free.

Support the club as we always do. Managers/players/chairmen come and go, fans are forever!

Yeah, it’s depressing!

A bit cheeky that they want us to pay it all before the lockdown phases are over. I suspect the Trust will be all over that.

My email didn't mention anything like that - did you get it because you're in those rows?

I'm moving to safe standing (row 5 of south stand) so I'm assuming they already had the bars and that's why they haven't mentioned it
