I just had a thought as to which of these two would be given player of the season if the season was to come to a premature end today.
We would finish in 4th position, a point behind the Champions League winners, which would be a good position IMO having played with a very lame strike force of an out of form Defoe and Ade, plus Dempsey.
Up until his injury, Sandro has kept us in games where we would have either lost or drawn, instead of us acually drawing or winning, because of his no nonsense steely resolve.
On the other Hand Bale has had the opposite effect, where we have been drawing or winning games, we would have lost or drawn without his goals.
With both having this impact on our season, I feel it is a hard one to call. What do you think?
