If we sign him, this only makes it better: some gooner created a fake twitter with him, using his Fifa picture in an Arsenal kit on it.

He may be talented but if he and Grealish becomes our CM signings I can’t help but to think that we should have bought more proven quality.

Whats the point to sign guys like him or Foyth when they hardly get a match here.
Not questioning his talent just honestly thought we are looking for some more developped to help us compete NOW.
He might start at this rate given our injury issues, a season in the prem could make or break it for him. Not against this signing, he looks decent, but won't push us on. At least he's 20 so he has a lot of time to improve.

Agree we should never have signed bale or dele just players that could walk straight into the team.

We were definitley in other positions that times and I would be totally fine if we address our weaknesses now.
While our competitors sign jorginho, fred, fabinho or keita this seems to be our answer...

Looks to be another second choice target.

Seems easy to wrap up at the end of the window and don't see any reason why he couldn't have been signed earlier

Paying out 6-8 weeks wages is a good disincentive for DL.

The reason we wait is because we get better bargains. We know what bids have gone in and been rejected. The selling club can no longer hold out in the hopes of someone else coming in and starting a bidding war as the prem window shuts thursday. This is as good as it gets for them take it or leave it.

Wow. The whole window wait for mighty Sander berge. We are going to win the CL.
Please don't tell me how good he can be under poch.
If you're not interested in how good players can be under Poch, then Tottenham Hotspur may not be the football club for you.

I must say I haven’t seen that much of him, but being Norwegian I’ve seen a few international matches and it’s been a long while since I’ve seen any Norwegian player as good as him. That’s perhaps not saying much - norway are crap - but I remember seeing him coming on against Northern Ireland (terrible match) and he strode past players a bit like dembele. He clearly has something about him and I’ve said for a while now that he’s the only Norwegian I would be happy to see tottenham sign at the moment. Also, clubs like Sevilla (they’re pretty good at recruiting under the radar players) have been courting him for over a year now.

I can confidently say Berge is the best midfielder I've seen after a 2min clip. That's all I needed.

Deles first season he helped get us cl football and was named young player of the year. Probably a better signing than any you just mentioned.

Give him a chance before writing him off. We might not even sign him.

And who are you to tell me which club suits me? I might have more ambition for my club then you who is always content with mediocrity.

Has played at CB at times in his career.

No goals or assists to speak of.

Won't affect HG / international quota as he's under 21.

Looks mustard in those videos, he's a big boy.

I don't think I'll ever be against these types of signings, so I welcome him if we do get him

He's the sorta dude I wish we bought more often. In that, this is the sorta young player with potential that goes to a club like Dortmund, or Lyon or Ajax or Seville for $10m... Lights it up over two seasons and then is worth $40m, and thats when we start sniffing around, only to typically get outbid by the likes of Chelsea, Bayern, PSG, Juventus, etc. Occasionally we pull off one of these but I'd like to see if we could improve in this area... Especially when you have a coach that specializes in developing talent.

Sorry. Just a random rant.
Are you Daniel after a joint?

It is hard to judge players particularly when they play in lesser leagues but he looks a very promising talent.

Agree with the poster above about trying to invest in these sort of players at a young age like Ajax , Dortmund and Seville etc and develop them and saving money in the long run. We have the facilities to do so.

Surely we can just give matches to Onomah? Not sure what the point of signings like this are. Promote the youth properly or get in real quality. This guy isn't going to reach his potential for 3-4 years if he does get there. We need guys who have already proved themselves at a good level.
