Some people never change.

I thought Woodgate was supposed to be back in training (with the squad) and being a good boy.

Tonight I had the unfortunate pleasure of seeing him and his moron friends getting p***ed in my local pub (Southern Cross, Middlesbrough). So much for him working on his fitness.

Apologies if I'm having a dig but one of his pathetic friend's thought it was a good idea to throw a large plastic tray at one of my female friends ... and i don't mean softly softly ... but just missing her head and wacking some girl in the back.

Did he or his friend's apologise? Well sarcastically at best as they continued to act like they owned the pub. Woodgate turned a blind eye.

You'd think after the trouble he got into with Bowyer that he'd grown up but no no ... same old Woodgate, turning away, pretending he didn't see anything.

I did manage a smile though along with a packed out pub when my friend got up and wrapped the tray round the lads head :D

So Woodgate is an arsehole for not stopping his mate from throwing a plastic tray around, but you're to be commended for smiling your way through your mate smashing it round someone's head. Wind your neck in you fucking cretin.

You lot are pathetic. Woody is a professional player earnign big bucks, but he chooses to go out with idiots like this and turns a blind eye, and yet you think it's ok for him to do so bcoz he cant control his friends? Thats stupid, mates. Just because he's a Spurs player, he can do no wrong? Woody should know better.

And you cant control what your friends are doing? Really? That's geek talk man. Well, the least he couldve done was to tell his friend off, and go back home and disasscociate himself from them for that night. He's a professional footballer who people look up to FFS.

And at the moment, this matter aside, he does not deserve to eb in the team, what with Kaboul, Bassong, Gallas and Dawson all covering the position excellently during his absence.

I empathis with you Teeside. Some idiots we have here in SC.

In this day and age where most people carry a phone with camera and video function, Woodgate was being extremely foolish to say the least. Within minutes his boorish behaviour could have been all over the internet and possibly the National papers, thus further sullying his and the Club's reputation. Drunken Idiot!!

Notice how these sort of stories always involve English/British players and never foreigners?

Why so much abuse? The op felt that strongly about it he had to post on here. What's wrong with "I disagree with you there m8, he can't control his friends" or "I don't really care m8" or even ignore the thread! Why do we feel the need to abuse posters, it just seems to be getting worse day by day!!

So they continued to act like they owned the pub after your mate got up and wrapped the tray round his head?

So presumably for them to have continued to act that way they must have battered your mate as well, or did they just let him get away with that? Would seem unlikely for a bunch of morons pissed.

So did it all kick off after your mate done that?

with that sort of behaviour, it's hardly surprising to see the guy so unfit and injured all the time. Here's hoping he gets completely pissed again and drives himself into river tyne, so that we can stop coughing up on his wages.

Associating with that type of person has stalled many a career. He's been through this before but obviously hasn't learned his lesson, which is sad for him.... this also leads me to believe he isn't 100% percent committed to his recovery.

He's been robbing clubs blind while being injured for years, if he's not committed then he should have the decency to retire and stop wasting everyones time.
