Tottenham boss Antonio Conte visited Ryan Mason when he was manager of Chelsea after the midfielder suffered a career-ending head injury.
Mason sustained a fractured skull while he was playing for Hull City at Conte's Chelsea back in 2017. Conte was appointed at Tottenham earlier this month and promoted Mason to first-team coach.

That's such a lovely story and it almost goes against many people's view of Conte being a nutter with little or no feelings for players, driven entirely by his own ambitions and screw everyone etc. It's actually quite touching. Nice one Tony.

(Where is the warm hug emoji I was looking for)?

You just never know in football when two people's paths will cross again. Anythings possible. Lovely story.
