Wow, not even 25 yet..
Yep. VEry slowly becoming a legit destination, not just 1 or 2 retiring superstars.

Sickening, but you are seeing an orchestrated attempt to take over, or at least get to the top table, of football driven by souless cash.

How long before you start seeing LIV/PGA style discussions with UEFA, for example? As I can't see them turning down the money....

I really don't like the younger players going to Saudi, it's getting worrisome

I don't think it's "very slowly" it's been one transfer window

Is a bit concerning to be honest. Seems like they are trying to do what the EPL did back in the 90's when it started. Like you say it is now more than just players going for their last big pay day. When they can start bidding for players like Mbappe etc, it does make you wonder if more of the prem players will take the same route as Henderson, Mane, Neves etc.

Still not concerned. Until you see squads full (started and bench) it’s not real.

Apologies for the off topic but getting ads for the goons is just weird isn't it?

Putting me in mind of the Chinese League hoovering up players and offering relatively massive wages, albeit the Saudi Arabian league is doing this to a much, much greater extent.

China seem to have abandoned the effort to get football to take off in a big way. It failed to attract the desired level of attention and become a profitable endeavour for them, but with Saudi the cash reserves are so enormous they can keep going so long as those running the show are entertained.

Chinese government put an end to it, the money the players make wasn't allowed to leave the country or something along those lines
