Toldra clearly with a look of "I'm going to smash that camera down your fucking throat mate"

I don't get how it works. Why would these two have to meet if the problem is the valuations between the two clubs? Surely it would be Baldini meeting with a Valencia official?... I'm probably being slow.

I've made this point many times before, but it's VERY important to remember that the recent attack-minded players that have come from La Liga to the EPL have done phenomenally well. There is a reason a brilliant football mind like Michael Laudrup has spent heavily on La Liga players.

Michu had 15 goals and 2 assists in his last season in La Liga, and 18 goals and 2 assists in his first EPL season.

Aguero had 20 goals and 4 assists in his last season in La Liga, and 23 goals and 1 assist in his first EPL season.

Mata had 8 goals and 13 assists in his last season in La Liga, and 6 goals and 16 assists in his first EPL season.

Van der Vaart had 6 goals and 2 assists in his last season in La Liga, and 13 goals and 1 assist in his first EPL season.

Cazorla had 9 goals and 5 assists in his last season in La Liga, and 12 goals and 14 assists in his first EPL season.

Soldado had 24 goals and 4 assists in his last season in La Liga. If the above pattern holds true, he should score 20 goals with the chances he'll be afforded in our side.

It'd be a hell of a signing. If it happens, I'm almost certain we'll finish top 4, but beyond that, we'll be pushing for the title, too.
