I have a different opinion to most I imagine, but I'd be perfectly content if he remained as 3rd choice. We definitely need to move on Ade and get another striker but Soldado seems like a popular player and a good leader amongst the younger guys in the dressing room. As a 3rd choice player he could play a role in a handful of cup games. Obviously it's a lot of money to pay someone to be third choice but I think we'll struggle to find a buyer.

Ohh Im not so sure the Valencia fans would be too happy to see him back. Other clubs in Spain would surely be intrested, put him in any team that suits his style and he will score goals.

I suspect that this TW and maybe January are the last 2 TW#s when we might recover a reasonable fee by selling him.

We need strikers to score goals - which he doesn't - so no great point in carrying a passenger as 3rd choice, understand he may be a popular guy, but is he a great example to have around the young guys ? He's come to score goals, hasn't yet is given a leadership position. If we can get £10m+ for him, its a better option to me

Not sure why Valencia would be in for him - they've got Paco Alcacer, who's like a younger Bobby, and Negredo.

Same, I think Kane, Martial and Soldado would be ideal.

Bobby didn't play dreadfully by any means last season, he's just got a confidence problem. That doesn't mean he can't do a job for the team though.

Some of you have lost the plot wanting Soldado to stay. To do what exactly?

Agreed he just isn't cut out for the Prem, would be best for all parties if he moved back to Spain, where I am sure a few clubs would want him. We need fresh blood up top, HK cannot do it all on his own again this season.

It's admirable I guess, but there are a number of fans who are eternally optimistic, unwavering in their support, but easily pleased and can never accept that the club may have made a bit of a fuck-up.

We see this all the time. Paulinho will play one good pass and all of a sudden you see 'I think he's got a future with us', Lennon scores a goal out on loan and its 'why the fuck did we get rid of him!?'... These fans are still convinced that Poor Bobby will come good, especially with his loveable little face and his pro-Spurs messages on social media.

If we can shift ade I won't be too upset if soldado stays, at least you know you get hard work with him. And who knows a run of Europa games against lesser opposition could reignite his form, now there is less pressure on him die to expectations well and truly lowered

Plus Trippier and his early crosses.

Hopefully if we are moving him on then it means two things:

1. We are looking at other strikers (as we should be) and want rid of 1 before we can bring a new one in.

2. Adebayor is proving increasingly difficult to shift. You'd think he'd be first out ahead of soldado.
