Restricted View Seat - Different Categories

Got two restricted view tickets for the Man City game and have never sat anywhere outside of the Park Lane. Just wondering, do people have any idea how the different categories for these seats work ?

I have two tickets for East Stand Upper area H, row 3, seats 239-240, and they were the most expensive banding of restricted view seats ( £58 ). Does this mean that the pillars won't obstruct goalmouths like the lower priced tickets probably do ?

Anybody sat near here ?

Thanks in advance

I think you'll be okay. The further back you are the less the posts will block, clearly, if you're in the upper stand and they do you should be able to see by moving your head

Thanks for the replies guys, ah okay, banding for matches DAMMIT !! Thought I'd secured tickets that were maybe a smaller obstruction of non goalmouth area.

Thats on the lower tear eh, Stoof ? I'd be pretty happy if thats as bad as the restriction got though !

Oh yes, that was more of a guide to what your view might look like. We sat up in the East Stand for the Leeds cup game, and you forget the thing's there to be honest.

Not as much bother as people make out.

I've sat in restricted view before now. It isn't a big deal. Also, even at a sell-out fixture, you'd be surprised how easy it can be to move to another seat sometimes, if the view bothers you. e.g. someone else wants to sit next to their mate, etc.

I've sat up there in the East stand a few times, never liked it.

it was a small bit of a nuisance at times, having to move to see some of the [hot] goalmouth action, but in Block H you might be a bit luckier and the pole might not restrict your view of the goal, but rather the goal line outside the posts - which would be sveet!

Yeah I was thinking that, the view I'd have of the pole would shift round to the right a fair bit, as I am two blocks left of that photo. It might end up blocking a small part of the opposite half, or near the centre circle ??

Either way, I'm happy, and I'll no doubt be too drunk to care !
