Kane is sooo good. What a footballer.

Dier on the other hand, not so much. Nice chap and all, but he cannot lead our defence. Man we need to bolster that area of the squad.

Everyone else somewhere in the middle.

Such a difficult game to rate the players… we could and should have been 3 or 4 down at half time but showed great fighting spirit in the second half and created several excellent chances but then again so did Utd.

Kane, Forster and Skipp were the stand out players.

Richarlison worked very hard but didn’t make most of his chances.

Son was hit and miss but unlike previous games he kept plucking away.

The defence, despite a couple of last ditch challenges were all over the place. I thought Perisic worked hard and was an improvement going forward but neither him nor Porro can defend.

I know Kane got MOM but Mason played a huge part in us getting a point. He must have said something right at half time to pump the players up and then unlike Conte and Stellini he made several brave substitutions which led to us earning a draw.

Regardless of conceding 2 goals, I really like Foster.
Team effort for me but only in the second half

Not sure how Romero hadn’t got as much love. He was snapping into tackles and protecting the back line as best he could. Credit where it’s due this was one of his better games imho.

Yeh, he's been unfashionable lately, so a great performance like last night will be ignored.

Didn't exactly cover himself in glory for the first goal. Slow and hardely even tried to close down Sancho.

Was good second half, thought he struggled first. Same with Dier honestly.

Between Forster, Skipp and Kane for me. I'll say Forster for keeping us in it and being a calming influence at the back. The other 2 gave it everything though.

Mention for Mason too. He changed things up instead of faffing around and got a good reaction from the players. They looked determined to make amends.

I thought Glenn's criticism of Porro(6) not making runs to the back post was correct, someone here saying Sonny(5) had same issue.

So often the oppo seems to have more players both in their pen and in ours. Surely this is to do with simple running which we must be doing less of. Fitness prob ?

Running stats are what's needed . Anyway well done Mason and team for punishing Utd for slacking off and actually using the option of many subs. The last two dinosaur managers seemed not to have noticed the increase from 3 to 5 .

Richarlison(6) couldn't get a whole load together, but for me he adds a dimension to us. Long passes from deep to Sonny with a defender on him are pointless he won't battle for the ball..same when crosses come in. Richie is different and is such a warrior that Utd's defenders were getting rattled and dispossessed by him. Keep starting him I reckon....and sub if not effective.

Kulu (5) keeps trying but his mojo has departed, only temporarily we hope (tho 6 months is quite a while)

They all had better games, I mean it couldn't get any worse than on the weekend. On our day with a great manager, we beat united and more than likely keep a clean sheet. United didn't play that well at all, we just made them look good. Had we put away our chances, that would have finished 5-2 at a minimum.
