Son for me because the 2 finishes showcase what he is about as a striker. First goal is clinical and instinctive, but most talented players could score that. Second one I think few PL strikers could hit; on your weaker foot, from that far out, with that type of control. I think it's a reflection of his dedication to his craft.

Not motm, but I thought Davies was really good today (as he has been all season) - some marauding runs forward in the first half .

Romero was great today and feel that he is vital to our success.
Good to see Royal was less shit than last week.

Romero 9
Son 8.5
Kulusevski, Bentancur 8
Everyone else 7
Apart from Moura and Winks 6

I thought Winks’ cameo showed how significantly worse he is than Bentancur. Their goal illustrated just how poor Wink’s is defensively, positioning, concentration, tackling.

Update, I’d forgotten how bad Moura was, same comment as above with regards to him and Kulusevski.
Disagree with you, Winks want poor positionally or with concentration, it was mobility which doesn't make him a poor player. When he leaves us some other premier league team (below us) will find a player.

Agreed. Winks will be a very good midfielder for another team in that tier below ourselves

Romero & Kulu 9
Son 8
Bents, Hojbjerg, Davies, Dier 7

Lloris 6. Good save as usual but hs distribution gets us in trouble half the time. That needs to stop.
Emerson 6. Thought he was poor first half but did a bit better 2nd half.
Romero 8 Great game.
Dier 7 Did ok
Davies 6. Major brain fart moment that could have cost a goal on another day. Ok bar that.
Sess 5. Guy's nowhere near good enough. Everytime he receives the ball we lose possesion or its 20yds backwards.
Hojberg and Bentancur 7.
Moura 6. Bad game. He's done unfortunately.
Kane 7. Good goal but not at his best.
Son. 8 Love Sonny. Great 2nd goal.
Subs
Kulusevski 8 Back to his best. Such skill. Another assist.
Winks 6. Meh
Bergwijn 7. Meh.

Maybe I watched the wrong game but watching the whole thing late in the day on TV it looked that we started slowly and gave up chances to a second string Leicester? They hit the post plus also had what looked like good chances. We only looked good after the second goal. But maybe I watched a different game and we were actually fabulous in defence …

I understand and agree with you, I think before our goal pretty much everyone was having a mixed performance at best, I couldn't notice a player who didn't make a mistake or had a shortcoming during the first half an hour or so. Even taking that into account, Romero gave a really quality performance; he was one of those with a mixed performance at the early stages, but even then he was doing some amazing plays as well.

It seems very harsh not to give Son MotM after scoring two amazing goals and assisting another one, but Romero's performance was so good that I've just realized what a good chance Argentina stands of taking the world cup at the end of the year. This may be a wild statement, but I think he's or will be better than peak Jan, Toby and Ledly.

It was poor concentration and positioning. And poor mobility. I was coincidentally explicitly watching him in the build up to their goal. Firstly, he could have joined the press closer to the half way line. When Bentancur does that the back 3 push up. Winks is aware their player has drifted behind him but neither pushes up, drops back or closes of passing angle. You’ll note a lot of our other players are constantly glancing behind them to do just that when we’re out of possession. Secondly, when their player does get the ball behind him, Winks does what he always does - doesn’t even consider attempting a tackle, but instead over runs in an attempt to get (belatedly) back in position.

Good win, a bit tentative in early stages .Good goal but bad luck for us that Kane's(6) sublime touch has deserted him these last 3 matches. We'll need him at his very best vs 'Pool.

I've been a Moura(5) fan, but this was surely one of his most abject performances .He can be a very lively interceptor/tackler, but even these were missing .Kind of performance that gets a player sold .

Romero (9) Motm and Sonny(8) great and a good overall effort...but I didn't feel reassured about Anfield next weekend tbh.

Romero MOTM for me.
My only negative is Conte and his last substitutions, why when we are 3-0 up and 80 minutes gone does he not give White and Scarlett some game time. When will our youngsters ever get a chance.

Maybe because if Son, Kane, Kulusevski or Bentancur / Højbjerg get injured he will need to rely on his senior backup - Bergwijn, Moura and Winks. By putting kids on in front of them, after some very hard and committed training sessions would be a slight and lose their motivation at a very key stage of the season.

Yes, with better finishing/luck leicester could have scored 3.
They created very good chances and cut through our defence with ease.
If Romero gave a world class performance, then Dier and Davies must have been dreadful as we were wobbly for most the game. Our third rate FB's don't help the cause.

For me, our strength was in attack, and Son was outstanding.

Just no way that Sess was worse than Moura And Winks. These two were the worst players on the field by some distance.
