So, if we add Kolo Muani and Van de Ven to our previous purchase of Manor, then we'll have bought...

Randal, Mike and Solly.

Monstrous window, if that's the case.

Hate losing Kane, but K-M has been my first choice from the beginning. He fits Ange’s system better than all the alternatives and his flexibility to play wide would keep Richy engaged.

Can I ask why?

€100m for a guy that has only ever scored 15 goals in a top league and is 24. His goal record in France is pretty poor too.

Yeah I get that he looks decent on the eye but those are not the numbers of a top striker.

Imagine how unbuyable, not a real word, Kane is on a 3 year contract, but this is where we are

15 goals and 14 assists in 32 games is an incredible return, and we have no confirmation that he'd definitely cost €100M either.

Some players are late bloomers.

Look at Isak at Newcastle. He's another player that passed the eye test but hadn't quite put up the numbers (no where Muani's either!). He's starting to look the real deal already now he's in the PL.

You can never tell, I really Henry being good in an international tournament, which the cliche of scouting on is a no no but average for juve, look how he turned out

I just really struggle to see this happening. I can’t see Levy throwing €85/90 mil at a forward.

N’dombele was meant to have cost euros 62 + 10m in add ons. Although I doubt any add ons were delivered.

Don’t think it’s outside the realms of possibility if we get 100m for Kane and apparently not touched the £50 m injectiom from last season.

I however think it’s more likely he’s off to PSG. Seems to fit in better with their apparent new direction.

I don't watch enough non English games to comment. He would take up 90% of the kane money, would it be wise to waste all of it?

What about Jonathan David? His scoring record for Lille is exceptional, and would cost a lot less

Hard to see us spending what would be a record amount on him. Be really surprised if this happened

agreed but at the same time Levy knows he will have to sign someone relatively big or the supporters will lose their shit after losing kane

I don’t want either of them. For that kind of money the risk is too high and I suspect we will feel the same. Muani doesn’t exactly scream data driven either but more shiny new toy.

Yea I get that logic alright but I think it will be 2 to 3 signings with the money spread out rather than 1 major signing at a record amount. Think another CB maybe topsoba and an attacking player like Orban with maybe one more future player on top of the Argentinian lad. Just think that's more Levy's style spreading the money / risk around rather than go big on one player

yes but we haven't had a crazy net spend yet. 100 mil from kane means that we've pretty much at i think breaking even after VdV, argentinian striker, maddison and Elmo.

IDK maybe i'm just hoping for us to be bold for once lol

To be fair we spend big just on the wrong players. I feel like this guys attributes with richy could be amazing.

I would much rather we buy several young players with tons of potential than blow our entire budget on one player. So I'm fine with this

Strike one.

Think ITK has ruled out Vlahovic too and Goncalo Ramos is also going to PSG.

Makes sense to go for a quality wide attacker and sign a couple of young STs such as Orban and Veliz to back up Son and Richy as main strikers.

Use the bulk of the money to buy a top CB prospect and a wide attacker. Then replace Hojbjerg with a new 6.
