I hope Manure lose tonight but in all honesty I think the worst thing for Man Shitty was for the abject performance by Manure on Sunday... Manure will come out to prove a point and get a point or three...

Except United playing shit. Lost 6 of 8 games. Players don't love Ole anymore.

In the sense that there would be a bigger gap between 3rd and 4th, yes. But we wouldn't be guaranteed of CL football by that.

Would put United and Chelsea both on 67pts, 6pts behind us. If they then both won their remaining games and we lost both, and you had the necessary swing in GD we could miss out.

Chelsea have 9 goals to catch up on us, even more if they lose against United. United have 15 goals to catch up - won't happen :sneaky:

I know it won't happen, was just explaining how we can guarantee CL qualification for sure this weekend.

Honestly, we *might* want to root for a draw or even a ManU win today so that they are "still in it" when they play Chelsea in a couple weeks. If they're mathematically eliminated by that time, they'll play a weak side and more or less guarantee Chelsea the three points.

Of course, this is all moot if we just win our last three matches ...

Even if they lose tonight, they would still be in it although relying on 2 poor results from Arsenal, beating CFC and relying on them to drop a point elsewhere. A draw would be decent if only to give some confidence ahead of the weekend. Even if it is a long-shot, they have nothing else to play for and would certainly go as strong as possible.

CFC still represent the biggest threat for us missing out if they manage to put 3 wins together. CFC's problem is that both Watford and LCFC will be likely playing for Europa league qualification and be highly competitive.

Why would they go to a top 4 rival and play a weakened side for no reason? Much more important for OGS to win some games and regain some momentum.

Overthinking it.

I don’t think Man U are as out of it as some think. It’s still a 4 horse race

Just seen this little video timeline of the leagues top 6 this season. Just look how consistent we've been since matchday 15.
