I suspected this slide but to be honest I thought it would happen a few games sooner than it did. Having Chelsea and Arsenal in the space of a week when in our worst form was bad enough but losing v Burnley and Saints were the more telling signs.

There’s hideous fatigue and complacency running through the team and I have to say that us and Chelsea look the ones least prepared for a fight. Poch making excuses for them and calling them heroes after w defeat to a rival enables this attitude though.

I feel sorry for him though. The club is to blame and it all goes back to not strengthening the squad last summer, as we all thought it would.

A top 4 finish now would be a miracle IMO.
Can you imagine if arsenal finish above us as yet again not for the first time we had a big points gap over them only to see us collapse in the usual way

A miracle lol please

I've always thought he was a bad defender and his offensive abilities were vastly overrated.

fair enough, perhaps someone should let Poch and Southgate know. after 46years of visiting the Spurs in action, I have seen a lot worst. if your after perfection in both defensive and attacking you will have a very long wait in life. yes there will be loads better, but we as a club might only just be entering a period where we can offer wages that might make players pick us one day

Players should be ashamed of themselves for letting the goons back in above us. We really have a huge fight on for top 4.

Wednesday is super important- all our rivals gained points over us last weekend. Anything other than three points and we’re really going to struggle to finish fourth

Our new stadium couldn't come at a better team, we played really well this weekend, if we take that form into the new stadium we can get our season back on the straight and narrow. Time for a reset and I reckon Kane will fucking drag the team on his back if he has to.

Im not worried at all. The fixtures we have left are very kind to us.

Palace H - tough game but winnable.
Huddersfield H - they're crap, easy win
City A - Lose or draw
Brighton H - win
West ham - Their cup final but I would expect us to win
Bournemouth A - They hate playing us and we always comfortably beat them.
Everton H- They will be on holiday mode and we will beat them

How can you not be worried when our form is woeful, playing in a new stadium doesn't magically change form, nor does it account for individual errors, we need to take 1 game at a time & actually learn how to win a game again, then we go from there

It doesn't but it will give everyone involved in the club from the players to the fans a massive lift.

I honestly believe that most things in life are down to the mental aspect of things, which is why Kane is a god. I think our team shows that more than most and honestly, I'm betting on the notion that a convincing win on Wednesday will completely turn around the current malaise and give the team what it needs to head into a strong finish.

Admittedly that's a double sided coin and a loss would be devastating for morale so we need to get that win.
