I'd actually take a 1-0 Arsenal in this game. It's the goal difference i'm worried about now Brighton are safe. Last thing we need is them banging in 4 or 5 without reply. Would give us little room for manoeuvre if we are beaten by Everton. If they got close to us on GD then we are no longer afforded the luxury of them being able to draw at Burnley no matter our result.

Burnley away is incredibly hard for most teams especially for Arsenal who are shit away from home and have a massive game in Spain on Thursday.

They ain’t winning that imo. Or at least, their away form for the entire season would suggest they won’t.

Would rather we just fucking won. Anything can happen in a football match as we all saw yesterday afternoon.

Whilst I agree I don't want them banging 4 or 5, don't write Brighton off.

We have to do better against Everton at home than then against Burnley away.

If I supported a normal team, I'd be confident....

This does improve our situation. We all thought Utd were dead guaranteed to finish on 71 points, which would have meant we had to draw against Everton at least. Arsenal’s final game is very tough however, so in theory we can now lose the last game and slither through, which we would not have been able to do if Utd won.
It’s fairly shameful however if we have to rely on the shittiness of others to ensure our qualification.

That's why United dropping those points today is so significant, had they won today and we drew with Everton, they were more likely to pip us on the final day having the easier fixture over Arsenal.

We obviously have to play to beat Everton but if we don't, and Arsenal don't win against Burnley we're still finishing fourth.

Worth mentioning that Chelsea are away to Leicester after another Thursday nighter.

Lose there and we only need a draw to top them :censored:

Arsenal will win today but they could struggle next week at Burnley. If they fail to beat Burnley we could lose our last game and still finish forth.

Next week’ games will all start at the same time. So we won’t know what is going to happen. We will need to win regardless unless if Arsenal drop points today.
