Question about tickets and membership

Im currently a lilywhite member and looking to get a ticket for the man utd game on 1st December. Tickets for lilywhite members go on sale on 15th oct. For bronze members they go on sale on 14th oct. How in demand will these tickets be and do you think I should get a bronze membership to guarantee a ticket?

On another note, I have about 3 others looking to go to the game, and they are all willing to buy a membership :) I don't want to take their money, buy a lilywhite membership only to find that the tickets are all gone by the time I buy on 15th oct, should I get them all bronze membership?

Last question. Can I upgrade my own membership to bronze or do I have to buy a new membership card?

Bronze members have a chance to buy the first 1,000 tickets. I never managed to get a ticket on the Bronze priority window and I don't think it's worth it for one game. You can get them all memberships but it *may* be cheaper to get tickets on stubhub, if they're only planning to go to one game this season. I think the best bet is to have all lillywhite memberships and link your accounts and have one person buy for the group

Whilst bronze get a day advance the club only release a certain amount of tickets on the Monday. They hold back more tickets for the Tuesday to allow Lillywhite members to get them. I can pretty confidently say that you will not get 4 tickets together regardless if you are all bronze members. The site is mad on a Monday morning and even if you log in for 930 there will be little more than single seats available. As for demand, this game will be sold out by 10-10:30 on the 15th October.

Good Afternoon cherubs !!!!!

Query. I'm looking at going to Newcastle (A) in February. Its a Wednesday night game at present. Obviously I know tickets aren't on sale yet. Question is I've never been to Newcastle before so don't know what the demand will be like. Does it sell out ? Are we likely to sell our allocation ? If so, how quickly ? What will our allocation likely be ? Basically, should I be able to get tickets relatively comfortably for this one from Tottenham or would I be better going through Newcastle for them ?

Any info appreciated.

Thanks chaps.

Do you think it is better to phone or go on the site to get tickets? I will settle for individual tickets for the game although Id obviously prefer together. do u think I could get single seats in the same section?

I think it's best to all get memberships, link them all so one person buys for you all. Just make sure you get into the que online at about 9:00 on the day so you get logged in at around half 9. Pick your block and seats, easy.

Just to make sure Im doing things right. Log in at 9am so im in an online queue ready to buy tickets at 930am? Also, how do I link all the memberships?

I have been to games before and bought tickets, just not such a big game and it will be in demand with the way we are playing

If you go onto the website at 9am, it will place you in a queue, just leave that page open and you should be in around 9.30 when the tickets go on sale, you can also get on the phoneline at the same time. I do this when it's a big match.

To link the memberships, you need to create one for each person, then theres a bit on your account page calledy "My network" I think. I can't remember exactly as I did mine a couple of years ago but I think you just add all the membership numbers to one account and you have to confirm via the email addresses of the other memberships to allow access and buy on behalf of them

Away allocations generally go to ST holders however games that are a little further away sometimes open up to members - both cases its on a loyalty point allocation rather than a first come basis. I'd suggest you check the official site leading up to the onsale time as they tend to give an indication of who they expect tickets to go to i.e. ST holders with 200+ loyalty points etc. Buying Newcastle seats would probably be easier however you'd have to sit with them!! Also they are generally well supported so having table toppers like us ;) turning up will probably bring a sell out - in that case if they are like us with members there will be few if any extras available.

Basically in answer to your question.....I dont know what you should do!

The site over subscribes from around 08:45 on a matchday sale for big games so logging in at 9 means you can sit in an online queue until the sale starts at 9:30. I have been logged on for 9 in the past and not gotten through until gone 10! The phone is the same as i'm pretty sure you are just phoning people using the same booking system with a similar volume of traffic. I've only failed to get a couple of games in the past few years so as long as you allocate time you should be ok.

Hi mate.

Newcastle Away on a Wednesday will go to General Sale 100%.

If it doesn't, I'll buy your ticket myself!
