Anyone know of any decent pubs that will be showing the game in the area? I've been dragged out to a club night there but there is no way I am missing the game.

Any tips would be appreciated.

Victoria station has a couple of good ones. I work in Mayfair and Shepherds Market has the Kings which has a few screens where you can usually get a seat and watch it upstairs.

Where abouts in Victoria/Mayfair, your covering quite a large area.

Ah yes - good call. Never watched a match there but it's nice

There's a Sports Bar at Victoria Station - where the temporary ticket office is outside (near the tourist information point, by the bus (not coach) station).

They have something like 17 screens and turn the commentary on. And some of the barmaids would get it.

I have absolutely no idea tbh  I don't know the area at all.

Thanks for all your help though guys I think the train station is the best idea.

That's the bit that would sway it for me. Might make an appearance on the way back home on Saturday if there's time

They do table service as well. Sadly, I'm only referring to drinks and food, but they are happy to stop, chat and flirt so I'm sure there's some mileage in it.

Here's their website - one in Marylebone, one in Victoria

http://www.sportsbarandgrill.co.uk/

Ignore the TBC next to what they will be showing - they have 17 screens and last time I went there they had at least three different games on different sceens, they will show the game.

Best bet is wither the Sports bar in the station as mentioned or the belgrvia pub has 3 or 4 screens.

That, or go to Rileys Pool shack just off buckingham palace road (forget the road now but its near the police station)

Has lots of plasmas and a huge big screen one end and you could play pool before / after

Semley Place is the name of the road.

For those of you going to/from Victoria coach station, it is literally a stones through away - come out of the main passenger entrance to Victoria Coach Station, a big white building, the National Audit Office will be right in front of you, turn right down Buckingham Palace Road (opposite way you would go if you were walking to the tube/train station), then take the first right.
