Does anyone actually know why Ccv was 10-15 yards behind rest off defence. When nkoudou loses the ball you can't actually tell.Because he so far behind them he is out of shot.Did he slip or something.Whatever the goal is clearly his fault and nothing to do with KWP.when nkoudou loses the ball KWP is actually level with Davies on the other side.If Ccv was in position they would have been 5 yards offside. Not even usian bolt could have made up that ground.

I wrote about that om the last page. The goal came directly after a goal kick. We split our centrebacks deep each side of the penaltybox, and CCV simply did not have time to get into position before the ball came back

That all sounds perfectly plausible to me, but at the minute I don't have access to a replay of the event. But if CCV steps up surely that renders the through ball you suggest void as the player would be offside ?.
The PSG player on the ball was completely free from pressure, so CCV had no chance of playing them offside.

Don't really buy that. You can see while lloris is taking kick he's just standing there while everyone else has pushed up it's just really basic defending.Have to say a lot of he's mistakes remind me of walker in early days, just wonder if he's not the sharpest tool in the box.

I hope he turns out as poor as Walker then.
'best right back in the league'; England selection, sold for 50 million.
