We have been drawn away to Preston North End in the fourth round of the Emirates FA Cup.

The draw pitted us against the Championship side, where our Republic of Ireland striker Troy Parrott is currently on loan.

Fourth round ties are scheduled to be played between Friday 27 January and Monday 30 January, 2023.

Good draw considering other results, and a good chance to get through to the 5th round.

Newcastle went out to Sheff. Wed yesterday, and Arsenal will face the winner of Man C - Chelsea while Liverpool will need to beat Wolves away and then Brighton away to get through to the 5th round. Only Man Ure with a better draw of the top teams.

Easy now... I've heard that theory before somewhere ? ... plenty of flashbacks before my eyes.

We’ll need to field a stronger side than v Pompey - would have lost playing like that at Deepdale

On paper a good draw, in reality we can't afford to take them for granted, we did that last season away to Boro and look what happened there.....
