And so he shouldn’t be, not until the police feel there is enough evidence to charge him.
That’s the problem with certain social media outlets and all the people they attract, I’d love to see some of them up for defamation of character and ending up losing a few quid, might make them think twice before turning into a keyboard warrior.

Seems like quite a few people have somehow assumed that the victim was fined.

All it said was that they fined a woman who was also there when they turned up to arrest said person. It's no wonder wild rumours start when reading comprehension is that affected.
