Tell you what, I’m just glad we play City second to last game of the season and not this Sunday.

100% yes. Because the bigger pic is arsenal possibly winning the league. If scoring or winning the game doesn’t change our final position outcome then honestly it will be hard for me to celebrate us scoring a goal against them.

Personally, I’d bite your hand off now if you offered me 17th place and Arsenal didn’t win the league. Petty, sad and pathetic of me? Probably.

But I just can’t face going back to the late 90s/early noughties misery and I’m willing to put up with any level of personal disappointment in order to stop that.

For me, a huge part of supporting Spurs has always been about the rivalry. Maybe it is sad, but us contributing to them not winning the league - by either beating them or losing to Man City - is pretty much the next best thing to a title of our own and is more important than 4th place
