Absolutely a peno but didn't Vic absolutely wipe out a Brentford player yesterday and no peno given 😂

United look very ordinary, quietly confident if we come with the same attitude next weekend.

Based on that performance we have nothing to fear from Utd next week. They were fucking shite.

The saddest bit is officials never have to explain it, we don’t hear their decision making process, there’s seemingly little to no comeuppance for horrendous decisions, and it means we get these ridiculous, woefully inconsistent refereeing performances.

If you call it out as a manager, you get a fine. Appalling.

Ball had long gone but yes that too should be a penalty in football but for some reason you're allowed to murder a player in the box if the balls gone

This was in the contest. Absolute stonewall penalty. Shocking decison

We are going to play this lot off the field on Saturday. Don’t think I’ve felt more confident in a fixture against United in some time.

Why can't we now have the commentary between the ref and Stockley Park on every VAR call?!

We the fans and stakeholders deserve to know why decisions are given/overruled.

So they gave Brentford a pen against us for the softest touch yet a full blown clothesline from the keeper isn’t a pen against Utd

Maybe fans need to start protesting about it. The broadcasters and papers seem to have completely abdicated responsibility for holding the officials to account properly. Nothing will ever change and it’s clear to me that things are getting worse not better.

All VAR has done is highlight the awful state of refereeing even further.

Why do they even persist with VAR when the refs making the calls are as clueless and biased as ever.

To protect the biggest sides?

I don't really get that though. If a player passes a ball and a players comes in with a late challenge after the ball has gone and wipes them out, it's a free every single time. No consistency.

Don't get me wrong, glad it wasn't given but keepers on every team get away with so much, it's a joke.

Genuinely starting to think there is match fixing afoot here. How can that not be a penalty. I’ve watched it back and it’s worse every time.
