In fairness we lost our heads in both of those games, had we stayed focused we'd have battered them in both games, and possibly won the league in 15/16...sigh.
We wouldn't have won the league. We lost it by drawing at home to WBA in the game immediately before the Bridge game. The Bridge was the final chance to make a fist of it but it would've been unlikely even had we won.

Well I think it's fair to say every one of our lads needs to be switched on and up for it this weekend. Let's hope they were watching it closely.

Arsenal are a fantastic side but that's also an appalling display by Chelsea. If only they showed the same fight they invariably do against us.

Arsenal's goal difference is surely unassailable. Just a case of who slips up in the last few games.

I assume you mean on them winning the league, rather than v us specifically and I agree with you that looking at all remaining fixtures, goal difference and current form they look most likely .

There was 7 minutes left in the match so at 5-0 I was pretty sure that Chelsea had no chance of even a draw

Missed the game. Saw the score. Laughed. Poch is a clown. Glad we didn’t go back. And the best part is, it’s not like things will improve much next season under someone else. The club is a mess.

We lost the chance to win the league when in the same week we only got 1 point from the WHU(A) and 10 men Arsenal (H). games. A win at WH would have put us top and a win at the weekend against that lot would have solidified our position and put the pressure on Leicester. After that disastrous week we never really laid glove on them. We were always chasing shadows. The Bridge game just sadly personified our lack of character and determination when the pressure was on.
