There is so much talent in South America. So many players that would be good buys for clubs in the PL but also us.

Yet we don't seem to pay much attention there
Been a failing of the premier league in general. Benfica have made well over a billion in sales in the last decade buying young talent from South America and selling them on. Mad the only time we've dipped in that market really was Foyth.

I was apeaking to an agent last week about the Argentinian market as he sent me a player to watch and he told me that their clubs are happy to sell and won't ask for too much cause their is an economy problem there.

I watched this player and the entire 22 players were playing with so much intensity and energy its a mystery why clubs ignore this and only Brighton have started paying attention.

A lot of the younger players don't have contracts because the smaller clubs can't give them it.

I do wonder if Gabbanini is looking there

Problem is. Don’t Portugal almost have a dual citizenship with Brazil?? They don’t need to take players who have played a certain amount of games for club and country before they get a visa.

No.

A lot of Brazilians can apply for a visa if they have ancestors from there.

A lot of Brazilians also do it with Italy.

They are only required to live in the city (or close to) their ancestors birthplace for 60 days or so.
