Blimey Smith agrees MI got a touch on the ball but won't admit Ozil's leg touched his.

Reliant on a pen to win against a relegation team. This is the side that's going to stroll through the Europa and lift the cup? :cautious:

They'll say the dodgy penalty doesn't matter because it was 2-0* anyway but without that, Stoke's tactics are different.

At least VAR might have helped the ref with the (first) penalty. Same as yesterday, a reminder that he should be sending Mane off and it's a different game.

No PL refs going to the World Cup.

* looks like 3, another penalty as I post this.

I can see how the ref missed the touch on the ball. It was very slight and didn't change the direction at all. Otherwise everything else was there for a PK.

Arsenal not winning at home to a bottom half team with only 15 minutes to go.

Second penalty correct decision, stupid defending, but Stoke’s issue is scoring. They had enough chances to make something happen in this game.

Pantomime refereeing again.

The first goal came from a called back piece of play deep in Arsenal's half, a nothing challenge
advantage given then recalled, quickly taken by Wilshere and up for the crucial imaginary penalty.

The rest is just too shabby, so many shitty fouls by Arsenal unpunished by the ref, before the goals, two possible cards for fouls by Bellerin could have seen him sent off.

Completely deserved. Stoke were shit.
2nd bottom. What did you expect?

Both teams were crap until the 2nd half subs. It was a crap game. Swings on that first goal. After that Arsenal can play with a bit more confidence.
