Solomon’s gonna be key against packed defences, he’s a big threat in the final third 1v1 and is sharp with 1-2’s around the box. Been a good debut for him so far

Seeing a lot of positives in the style, system and instructions for the players. Personnel in some positions is a problem but we knew that anyway. Very happy with the early signs.

Not sure that Skipp is good enough for first backup - quite a step down from Bentancur.
It's possible he could be third backup for this position if Ange can get a tune out of N'dombele - Bentancur will be first choice (if he gets back to full fitness - please god) and would be excellent in that position.

some glimpses of nice attacking play. Bissouma looks comfortable, solomon and maddison with positive play. Skipp getting in good positions, but maybe a more goal capable mid would suit better. Be good to see ndombele or devine get a shift 2nd half

For me, it looks like we have spent most of training time working on the build up from the back phase. We’ll get more work in the attacking phase over the next few weeks.

West Ham have put their chances away and we haven't. We are by far the better side so far but far too easy to score against.

We are actually playing really well in fairness.

We haven't got our back 4 yet so i wouldn't be too worried. I think Ange will be happy, moving the ball great.
