Does anyone have any pre-game rituals or superstitions? I used to be on the border of OCD when it came to superstitions before Spurs matches, especially NLD's. I packed them all in though thankfully! Anyone have any of their own?

I always wear my lucky spurs socks. Worn em every game since going to Milan! Used to wear a gold spurs necklace with a solid gold cock on the ball, but stopped as we lost more than we won :cautious:

Always wear my spurs pin, but never my shirt unless I'm at the game. Had a bad run a few years ago so packed in the shirt for game days.

I always go for a pee but I pee often being a 65 year old male; you'd know the problem.

Pre match kebab in a particular kebab house opposite the ground - the name escapes me. Actually my wife's little OCD touch rather than mine. We adopted this habit about 2 years ago and it's gone relatively well so far. Times we missed this routine include Norwich at home towards the end of last season, cos I was treated by a mate to Corporate hospitality. We may just be responsible as the butterfly wing that broke the camels back, that stopped us finishing third.....

I am very OCD about my match day rituals of which there are many.

The most important one is my shirt, it's just a polo shirt with the club badge, (a white one for PL, and a navy one for cups games) This only gets washed when we lose a game. Currently it is filthy, I threw coffee all down it when we equalised against Man U, and Guinness when Bale scored the winner at the Pikey's. I will be wearing it today at the game, under my coat of course.

I park in the same car`park at the station. Walk down one side of the High Road and always cross over the road at the lights near`McDonalds. Doesn't make any difference as we win/lose and draw anyway.:D

For a NLD, mine prematch ritual is to spend all morning on the f**king toilet bricking it in anticipation and angst.

Always used to go through the same turn style...mainly cos of the fit lady with big boobs scanning my card, however as soon as she disappeared I wasn't too fussed about keeping that tradition up.

Names escape me too apart from ChiKing's, but is the place you're talking about one where there's an old lady making the wrap bread on a little stool next to the grills?

I wear different Spurs jerseys for each game depending on the competition,... make some of my children wear jerseys if it's a big game,... if things are bad at halftime, then I make my wife wear a jersey and put up a flag or two. See, I keep things in reserve in case needed later in the match. All this with lots of German beer and the occasional shot (shots are only for when things are going well (y)).

As for BIG games like today, I will break out an old scarf with a Guinness stain on it from the 91 FA cup final -- I tend to break that one out for every game vs gooners...

So some are pre-match and some as halftime supplements... :ninja::mask:
COYFS!!!!
